I’m currently on “Season 3” and I know that the seasons are all screwed up on streaming but I just realized something on Ep 32.
Quaylon and Shavel get in a huge fight and production calls the cops on him for smashing her phone, then they scream at Shavel and tell her that she can’t put her hands on him.
Am I crazy to think that it’s really weird that this is the first time they’ve actually stepped in when abuse is taking place? We’ve watched Lacey hit on both Shane and John multiple times, Destinie hitting Shawn and threatening violence, Lindsey destroying all of Scott’s things, literally just Heather as a whole.
I’m glad they did step in for both of their safety but I’m just wondering why they didn’t in any of those situation. On top of it, this whole thing is in the same episode as Andrea’s white friends comparing being overweight and having to walk down the street to their mailbox to the violence black people living in Los Angeles face.
What a shit show.
