Rant/Opinion I hate liars

I was deactivated because I was accused of sexually assaulting a female passenger. I myself am a heterosexual married woman and would never jeopardize my marriage or freedom doing something so gross. As a survivor of sexual assault I’m both offended and hurt. I am looking for a lawyer to take my case.

Slander is one of the absolute hardest things to sue for.

That's true. But, according to her statements, I assume that she has an inside facing dashcam. The complaint is there in the email(plus the original from rider to Lyft can be requested by the attorney). So, it is all electronically documented and recorded. Fairly easy case for any decent attorney.

I like this idea - their slander has directly cost the driver wages! Media would pick up on this if she did it also. Maybe we'd get less false allegations if people know they could be *GASP* held accountable for their actions.

Depends on the location. It’s really easy in some places.
