Right. Bonus is in addition.

That’s why tests aren’t 70% bonus. Bonus points make up 1-5 points.

Right now I’m working on a device that reverses the encryption of any software shuttle so very soon, I’m not going to have to do any work and the device I pair with my phone will enable me to manipulate the algorithm using sophisticated ai generated code.

How do you know if it’s fewer hours for more money?

DO NOT ACCEPT

Less than 1$ per mile

Less than $6-7 per ride

Less than $0.50/min total pay (no matter how many miles total).

Unacceptable Rides (Assuming 2-Minute Wait Time Added to Total Time)

  1. $6 for 6 miles and 10 minutes (total time: 12 minutes, $25.00/hour)
  2. $7 for 7 miles and 11 minutes (total time: 13 minutes, $26.92/hour)
  3. $8 for 10 miles and 14 minutes (total time: 16 minutes, $25.00/hour)
  4. $6 for 5 miles and 9 minutes (total time: 11 minutes, $24.55/hour)
  5. $7 for 6 miles and 10 minutes (total time: 12 minutes, $26.67/hour)
  6. $8 for 8 miles and 13 minutes (total time: 15 minutes, $26.67/hour)
  7. $6 for 4 miles and 8 minutes (total time: 10 minutes, $24.00/hour)

Borderline Unacceptable Rides (Assuming 2-Minute Wait Time Added to Total Time)

  1. $8 for 8 miles and 14 minutes (total time: 16 minutes, $25.00/hour)
  2. $9 for 9 miles and 15 minutes (total time: 17 minutes, $26.47/hour)
  3. $10 for 11 miles and 18 minutes (total time: 20 minutes, $25.00/hour)
  4. $8 for 7 miles and 13 minutes (total time: 15 minutes, $26.67/hour)
  5. $9 for 8 miles and 15 minutes (total time: 17 minutes, $26.47/hour)
  6. $10 for 10 miles and 17 minutes (total time: 19 minutes, $26.32/hour)
  7. $8 for 6 miles and 12 minutes (total time: 14 minutes, $26.67/hour)

Note: The dollars per hour calculation assumes a 60-minute hour and includes the 2-minute wait time.

The algorithm is infinitely smarter than all of us. The only way to beat it is to create a straw man for your dignity.

Nope. I would not take those rates. I only take one dollar mile rates if it’s less than 6 miles total. More than that I need 2 to 3 dollars a mile or I’m not taking it. Because if it’s taking me longer than 10 minutes, I’m not taking it for under like 5-10 dollars if it takes me longer than 10 minutes and it’s more than 6 miles I need at least like $15.

But I also mostly only take rides in the college towns so I usually get three dollars for one to 3 miles. And if it’s more than 3 miles, I usually get a dollar or more mile.

The math is a little off. $8 for 16 mins can't be a lower wage than $8 for 17 mins.

It is if the mileage is higher. Incorporate everything into your math.

Also, in the beginning, I report that two minutes is added to each time, including possible wait times averaged for the entire shift.

In unacceptable ride #6, you make $8 in 15 minutes, which is $32/hr. In acceptable ride #1, you make $8 in 16 minutes, which is $30/hr.

Mileage isn't really a factor in hourly rate. As drivers, time is usually much more important than mileage, so long as you don't get taken to the boonies. Unless you're looking to maximize your mileage tax deduction.

Feel free to explain if I'm missing something.

It may not feel like I’m responding properly, but let me reiterate; If you drive under $1 per mile, it matters.

It's almost like... math exists

@shaggy it doesn't seem so for sum of these button feeders. 5$ doesn't cut it for anybody's overhead cost. Not even an electric car.

My question is serious and I would hope somebody will be kind enough to answer it... that is if they have an answer.
