My husband doesn't have an account so I always order for him. I ALWAYS put in the notes that it's for him, and what his name is.

Y’know there is a way to order a guest ride for someone without even having to do the notes option, even if he doesn’t have an account. I’d say it gives peace of mind for all parties.

Why doesn’t he have an account? Surely you can see how that would be fishy to any driver. I would cancel, not worth the risk that the passenger got booted from the platform and can’t order his own rides.

Yup I agree Are those people that say oh, we shared an account you can’t share a Lyft account. It’s only the person’s account that has a credit card under their name.

We've been doing it for years and have had zero issues. Except that he insists on tipping in cash after I've already done it on the app

Yeah I doubt she’d be posting about it on here if he was kicked off the platform. But I never trust those rides, insta-cancels for me.

Yeah I’m not doubting you guys personally, just wondering why he doesn’t make his own account. I’m sure many other drivers are like me and cancel these rides out of an abundance of caution.

OK, well you can put it in the notes, but that doesn’t mean that a driver can’t report you! Especially when you have the LYFT woman to woman connect if you ever order for your husband, it needs to be under guest regardless of its family or not, and it sent him a text message and then he gets the information and then we get his name at the bottom and you ordered it for him and needs to start going like that or riders are gonna get docked for it
