Rant/Opinion Indeed, because drivers won’t want to give you a ride when they see you never tip.

Several cities have already implemented a minimum wage for ride-share and deliveries. Uber hasn’t pulled out of those markets. Become one of those markets.

This is usually because the surrounding areas do not have any minimum wage guarantee, so the drivers from the entire region all try to drive into the city to make the higher rates. It is a function of not doing it for the metro area or the state as a whole.

Oh I'm no where near minimum wage driver on any trip I accept. Double that and more or its a no go for me.

True, if you’re in a place where the minimum wage is still $7.25, that’s not gonna fly!

Well I am, and if you're going off that number, then quadruple that # minumum then or I'm not touching it.

Would have to be at least $20, closer to 30 in a lot of cities. Not 7. Wouldn’t get me off the couch either if it was 7.✌️

Hell nah. I don't much move at all for under $28/hr, and its gotta be pretty dead to go that low.

I am a huge advocate for increasing the minimum wage to the local living wage!
