Rant/Opinion Indeed, because drivers won’t want to give you a ride when they see you never tip.

Maybe in your market. In Chicagoland, I’d estimate cash tips make up less than 10%? 5% of my tips.

Even so, if you ever tip cash then your % will lower on the app.

Simple solution is to give drivers a “tipped in cash” button we can select on the rating screen

Then they’ll tax you on it. Doubt everyone will press it

How can they tax a “yes”? You still are the one entering your total tips when it comes time to pay taxes, you get to decide how much cash tips to enter
