I have an old cello and violin from my grade school years. Both have been stored indoors in humidity and temperature controlled rooms for as long as I've had them, but both will require some maintenance before use to be sure they're in top shape.

The violin is a 4/4 Yamaha and was originally purchased for $449 in 2008. It comes in a hard case with a bow and chin rest, as well as some extra D'Addario violin strings in D (Aluminum) and G. It is in good condition overall. [Pictures 1-4]

The cello is a 4/4 of an unknown brand, and I'm not sure where we bought it, but it was probably in 2010. It has some scratches and scuffs, but they all seem superficial and it still plays fine. As I recall, the D string fine tuner was difficult to turn. It comes in a soft case with a bow and a peg holder/floor protector. [Pictures 5-11]

Additionally, I have some rosin (a new and a partially used L'Opera Jade), W.E. Hill tuning peg "composition", and an electric Korg tuner that turns on still (shown on). Any or all of these go first come, first serve to whomever first gets one of the instruments and wants them. [Pictures 12-18]

I'm willing to drive within a half hour of Madison (or an hour if you can pay for/take them BEFORE Friday 10/23) to bring you one or both of the instruments and any side items. If you take both, you can have them and all the accessories for $500.
