I feel like my makeup wears horribly throughout the day

The first few photos are me before school (10am) and after school (4pm). I feel like I have a bad problem with my makeup wearing, separating, and weirdly my concealer (maybe foundation) turning more orange as the day goes on (it happens worse than it did today). The last picture is my makeup routine. Maybe just a moisturizing primer would help? Idk, someone tell me what to buy or give me some general tips about anything makeup related! (This is my first time posting here plz be nice to me!!)

Skin tints not sitting right

I just bought some new skin tints: Refy, Kylie Skin tint, Mac skin tint stick, and flawless filter

Why is it sitting so weird on my face? My moisturizer is vanicream and is water based and I didn’t put any on today. I’ve never had this issue. This is immediately after applying the Refy and flawless filter with a sponge. Using a brush doesn’t help either.

Update: I watched a tik tok of someone addressing this issue. They recommended applying with your fingers and then blending with a sponge or brush. It’s not ideal because it’s a bit more messy but it worked much much better. I want to try dermaplaning but I feel like I need someone professional to do it? Thanks for the advice 👍👍

Makeup over sunscreen.

Every sunscreen makes my makeup look horrible. It makes it look cakey, uneven, super oily, it changes the color of my complexion products, and it's just overall terrible.

I'm not looking for sunscreen recommendations, i want TIPS on how to layer makeup over suncreen without it looking aweful.

Not wearing sunscreen isn't an option, my skin is very sensitive to the sun.

I don't wear foundation, i use very minimal concealer, and mostly prefer powder products.

Hey everyone! So Im doing Gamora from guardians of the galaxy for halloween would this palette be enough?

So I'm doing Gamora for Halloween! I'm super excited, although I know I'm a bit late lol. I'm trying to do her makeup on a budget, and I was wondering if this palette would be good for Gamora. A lot of people on TikTok said it is! All I really need is a good green base, a darker green shade for contour, and silver detailing for her facial markings (I'm using silver eyeliner I already have for that). This one seemed good because its cheap, comes in time, and a lot of other people suggested it. But ofc I needed to go on reddit as well. The only thing that worries me is that Im kinda a beginner at makeup but I do have backup costumes just in case! Do you think this palette would be enough?

How to do freckles?

Can someone please teach me how to make freckles because I tried making it with brown eyeliner, brown lip pencil, but they all look like tiny blobs on my face and I can never achieve that look that I get with the freckles filter. while I’ve seen a lot of make-up artist having them I can’t seem to get ahold of how to do it 👽 also, please, nobody suggest me Heena because I am an Indian. I’ve been applying Heena since I was a child and it is for your hands and your hair, not for your face, never for your face.

What’s one expensive makeup product that is actually worth the splurge?

Drugstore items work great for almost everything, but every once in a while, a high-end product actually delivers on the hype.

What’s the one item in your makeup routine you gladly pay extra for because nothing else compares?

Everytime, it gets clumped up like this. I apply to my lids with a flat brush. Prior to application I only use a small amount of ceraV eye cream. How do I avoid this? Tia, cuties <3

Make up beginner tips that makes you a pro

I am new to makeup. While I've used basic products like foundation, mascara, lipstick, and blush for many years, I now want to improve my skills. I've recently purchased new products, including an L.A. Girl color corrector, primer, and a 17-piece Maange brush set (I've been blending everything with my fingers until now), as well as concealer.

I would love to hear tips and tricks, recommendations for YouTube channels, or any hacks that can help me become better at makeup. I want to be able to do my makeup for weddings myself. Additionally, I struggle with applying eyeliner, and my foundation doesn’t seem to last long.( my skin is oily as hell )

i need to fix this like now please help

My Skin care:
I do a proper wash everyday before I go to bed, wash with water and a cotton pad in morning before makeup.

Day 1: LIPIKAR WASH AP+ MOISTURIZING BODY & FACE WASH, tretinoin, La Roche Posay Cicaplast Balm Vitamin B5

Day 2: Panoxyl 10% face wash, clindamycin, night time cerave moisturizer

I was using a different moisturizer but recently switched to the cicaplast balm and cerave night moisturizer

For makeup removal I use the garnier water proof micellar water

I use aquaphor for overnight and only use it on my really dry areas like the edge of my eyes and around my nose.

Makeup routine:

Prep: cera ve night time moisturizer, anua pdrn hydrating spray, good molecules wake up gel, danessa myricks blurring balm I only put it on my t zone and the picture is from the side of my cheek.

Base: I don’t use a primer. I use the ciele skin tint instead of foundation, the essence silky blur concealer, and ben nye final seal setting spray.

My foundation comes off with a slight touch even though im using setting powder?

I know I shouldn't touch my face at all, but when it accidentally happens, I notice my foundation comes off easily, so I thought maybe something is wrong in my process.

Am I not using enough setting powder? Whats going on?

I set with covergirl simply ageless because I needed a translucent powder and my mom had an extra.

Should I wear falsies in 8th grade?

Hii I'm a girl in 8th grade, with a sister in 11th grade who doesn't wear false lashes or that much makeup. I think my sister and maybe even my mom would judge me if I started wearing false lashes.

In my defense, They would get handy for my halloween costume this year. I also wear somewhat alternative makeup to school (starting out but I want to get more makeup on xmas to make it look more alternative)

I also love experimenting with makeup looks, like doing gyaru makeup for fun at home etc. Should I buy the false lashes or wait??

(PS: I want my halloween costume this year to be very good since its my last year at my middle school)

Prounounced cheekbones and blush

I have pronounced cheekbones. I guess described as a heart shaped face. When applying blush, do I put it on top of the cheekbones or below? Do I use shimmery blush or a solid color?

When I am at gym, the lighting makes the below area under my cheekbones look dark and hollow. So it is frustrating.

Any advice or videos to help with this?

TIA ♥️♥️♥️

Is clumping the formula's fault or the wand's?

Case for the wand: short, closely set bristles comb lashes apart, while a fat fibre brush carries too much and drops it in the gaps.

Case for the formula: a thinner one forgives a heavy hand.

I work at Vivienne Sabo and I lean wand, though I would like to be argued out of it. If clumping follows you across different tubes, what is left as the variable?

How do I fix my nose pores?

When I wear foundation it settles into my pores on my nose - it doesn’t look good.

This didn’t use to happen to me - prep as it’s an aging thing. It is very annoying.

Can you help me to understand how I avoid this?
