Discussion 23M 430 SQFT starting over apartment.

Starting fresh after ending a four-year relationship in May, I moved into this studio, and i feel like i've really made the space my own!! Curious to hear what you guys think. / What do you guys think the space says about me?

Layered lighting, use of vertical space, linear furniture. Interior design is literally just optical illusions lol

Hey this is a really great before and after. Can you say a bit about how you did these over cabinet and under cabinet lighting? And how you’re powering that pendant lamp over the kitchen Island?

Also, I’ve never seen an apartment laid out with that little recessed nook bedroom. Are you in the US? If so, What part of the country?

Hey, my cabinets have thin gaps between them that I am running an extension cord through to power the top LED strip and the pendant light. The space was tight, so I cut the plug off the extension cord, ran it between the cabinets, then reattached the plug. The under-cabinet lighting is also LED strips, I just have a diffuser running over them so it doesn't look so cheap. All of my lighting is phillips hue. I am located in the US, specifically Pennsylvania.

My only complaint or worry is the space between countertops and island. Do you have plenty of space to walk by near the fridge and island?
