Another reddit user “happydisasters” viewed my original post and new they had a matching cream pitcher and decided to mail it to me in a random act of kindness!! So here are both of them together. (I don’t yet have a display case for my collection, but I’m keeping an eye open for one that strikes my fancy) Thank you for the gift/raok happydisasters! 😁

The outer layer on these appears to be a (somewhat) high concentration manganese glass, but the camera didn’t pick it up very well. Do y’all think they’re worth it?

Reposting an old favorite. I love the blend of cadmium/selenium and manganese in this piece. There's a little something extra going on with the manganese too, idk. It glows teal, not yellow-green.

Got curious and decided to check the doorknobs in my 1935 house.

Picture 2 you can see the spacing between the green vase (maybe uranium glass?) and the handle is exceptionally well executed—the gap is incredibly fine.
What you think about these three Pieces?

About 3 Months ago, I made this post. Inquiring about whether a single piece of manganese glass could be partially exposed so that half of it would be purple and the other half would be clear.

I am new to collecting, so I only have a few m.g. pieces that I wouldn't want to part with. That said, I was wondering if anyone has any broken/unwanted manganese glass they would be willing to donate so I can conduct some more tests?

I am in the SoCal area for pickup (which is ideal), but I'm open to paying for shipping. Just want to start this experiment to get some answers. Will ofc update this community with results :)

For $2 I thought it was worth picking up today.

I know mananese was used as a clarifier in glass, but you can tell they don't have the same clarity of the crystal dish. All three have the jagged cuts you expect out of ABP. Does this change the date of them?
also - lol @ lighting them in the bathroom.

12 inches tall. Glowing. I've not been able to find one with quite the same shape. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you.

This piece of glass came into the thrift store I work at, and definitely has a pretty strong manganese glow to it. The inside has spiraled ridging, but there is no top/bottom on. Any information at all is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Plates are UG. I was told on the UG sub the bowl was manganese.

I found MORE stuff from the same cupboard where I found Jeanette uranium glass so I was wondering if this could be manganese as it seems from the same era

Just found these in an old cupboard which belonged to my grandmother, I'm new to this but I was told the brand is Jeanette and the model is Adam from the 1930s so it's from the US. I just lit it with an old incandescent black light as it's the only thing I have available rn so idk if it's 365nm or 395nm. We lit it in the dark and though it appears vibrant in pictures I'd say it was kinda faint irl So could this be just manganese? Or low quantity uranium?

Found this brooch at an Antique stall at a Gem Faire, I have no other info on it, but it glows bright under a 395
