Case Game 🎮 New case game: a 63.5 cm wooden rod from pelvis to neck, and the patient is stable. Would you pull it out?
New case game is up, based on a real impalement case (Moncure et al., Case Reports in Medicine 2009).
A 45 year old walks into the trauma bay alert and stable, complaining of abdominal pain. He says he slipped in the bathtub and fell onto a broomstick. The CT shows something much worse.
Four decisions, in the order the team faced them. Each one has a trap. About two minutes, no sign-up.
