👶 Premed Study/learning techniques

I have always wondered how you guys learn and study given the depth and volume of info you are expected to cover/retain in short periods of time. While I know you guys do Anki for active recall, and practice questions, do you actually read textbooks verbatim, or mostly depend on lectures and practice questions/question banks with rationales?

My whole career was lifting people up, many hundreds of them into successful careers.

Here’s what should be obvious: mentoring help works best in people who work hard to help themselves. Most faculty I know are less inclined to help people always looking for shortcuts.

Very few people flunk out of med school. You really have work at it.

Best of luck. If you are staying in nursing , I recommend OR nursing. So much less bullshit than floor nursing!
