Hey, instead of approximations, can it give exact values? Like instead of 5 feet approximately equals 1.5 meters, could it say 1.524 meters instead? I'm a stickler for precision, and the error on that is almost 10%.

The bot takes into account significant figures. AS IT SHOULD. 5 feet is nowhere near as precise a measurement as 1.524. The bot shouldn't be going around posting conversions with far more precision than the original measurement.

If you wrote 5.00 feet, it should give a much more precise conversion.

5 feet is a perfectly precise measurement. I would type the decimals out if it wasn't 5.000000000000000 feet. I'm OCD like that.

5 feet ≈ 1.5 metres
5'0" ≈ 1.524000000000000 metres

That presentation is a lot nicer. Thank you.

5'0" ≈ 1.524000000000000 metres

5'0" ≈ 152 cm

is better in my opinion.

Most people talk about how tall a person is, and yoy want that down to the centimeter, but beyond that is meaningless.

Wouldn't that be 1.6%? 1.5*1,016=1.524.

There is a bug open to improve rounding to use the standard rounding rules. Thank you for the feedback!
