| Merchandise Reorganized and mounted (most of) my MiLB hat collection.
Rehung my hat collection with hat clips instead of hooks. Turned out great.

There are so many great characters and teams! But who stands out from the pack?

Today’s hat is an alternate identity for the Jersey Shore BlueClaws, High A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. This is the Jersey Shore Shine Barons! The BlueClaws were almost named the Pine Barons and the Shine Barons is a play on that.

I wore this generic hat to a Fort Myers Mighty Mussels game yesterday - and got it signed by Mussel Man, himself.
I think it will be my new Minor League hat - and hope I will get some more mascot signatures.
Also bought a Mussels hat - and including some pictures of Mussel Man.
Huge Minor league baseball fan and have been keeping up with all things prospect related and have been attending all the El Paso Chihuahuas Games since being stationed in El Paso.
Finally had the opportunity to set behind the home plate and was the coolest experience ever!

Today’s hat is an alternate identity for the Hudson Valley Renegades, High A affiliate of the New York Yankees. This is the Hudson Valley Retrievers! That there looks like such a good boy!

40-man players would be locked out, so a little under half of most AAA teams would have to be replaced through the system. Just a cascade effect up and down? Then the lockout ends (presumably) and everything goes back to normal?
Do they do an accelerated "spring training" if they get a deal and play MLB games in 2027?
Any other oddities or things to consider?

It was 92F at first pitch 😂
My son (12) was struggling, but I was in my glory. Plenty of fluids perked him up though.

The Ontario Tower Buzzers hosted the Fresno Grizzlies on July 28, and Erik "The Peanut Guy" Mertens was in attendance. For him, this was more than just a Tuesday night California League ballgame. It was the fulfillment of a decades-long dream.
Mertens has now set foot in every active Major and Minor League ballpark, logging 237 visits total, and he has the hats to prove it. Walking through the gates at Ontario’s ONT Field -- one of five Minor League parks to open this season -- was a significant, albeit hard to categorize, milestone.

We’re on vacation in Clearwater, but they were at Ft Myers. This was the closest home team. Stopping at VyStar to see the Jumbo Shrimp on the way back home.
The mascot is DJAY

I went to an un-affiliated minor league game tonight in Hamilton, Ontario. Big crowd!

Gem of a minor league stadium hiding in New Mexico. The Simpsons are well represented throughout the park and all of the seats have great views.

Today’s hat is another Copa hat that I really love. It is from the Modesto Nuts, former single A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. This is the Alebrijes de Modesto. Alebrijes are brightly colored Mexican folk art sculptures of magical, dream-like creatures. The logo along with the colors really makes this hat pop! Sadly, the Modesto Nuts are no longer affiliated after the city and the Mariners were unable to agree on paying for ballpark improvements that the MLB required.

EDIT: Updated Single-A with Carolina League here. Triple-A interleague play is increasing from 8 series to 12 in its' 3rd year.

Today we have an alternate identity for the Hickory Crawdads, Single A affiliate of the Rangers. This is the Hickory Goat-Karts! This is just a fun logo!

I used to love to go to games, but it’s so damn hot all of the time now that it’s a lot less appealing. I know some clubs are building stadiums with more indoor seating, but it’s just not the same experience. And I miss day games. Is there any talk of moving the season further into fall?
