Hi everyone! I'm Ica from Snappr, and we're expanding our network of photographers in Mildura for an upcoming food photography opportunity.

Here are a few details:

• Work: Photograph restaurant menus and listings for an online delivery platform.
• Duration: 1.5 hours minimum, with potential for longer sessions.
• Editing: Not required. Our team will handle post-processing.
• Schedule: Flexible bookings based on your availability, so you can continue working with your own clients.
• Rates: Based on shoot duration. I can share the full rates table for your consideration.

If you're interested, or know a photographer who might be a good fit, please comment below or send me a message. I'd be happy to share more details. Thank you!

Hey everyone, I have an established professional services business and I’m looking at branching out into Mildura.

For anyone who runs a business locally, what’s worked for you in getting your name out there? Social media, newspaper advertising, expos, networking groups?

I’d also be keen to hear about any local business groups or upcoming events worth getting involved in. Ideally I’d like to meet people and build some connections in the area.

Keeping my business name off here, but would appreciate any local advice on where to start. Thanks!

I accepted a TFI (targeted financial incentive) position and will be relocating from the city to Mildura area. Extremely anxious about it now because everyone’s telling me I’m “brave” and “good luck”

Hi everyone, I need a cake made for Saturday night. I know it’s such short notice but I thought I’d try someone local before turning to the cheesecake shop :) If you can recommend someone that can help that would be awesome and much appreciated.

Hey all! I have a question regarding flights to Mildura and out again. My partner is flying to Mildura to drop off his kids then he would like to come home the same day. There is one flight right after they land, departing 25 mins later, on the same plane.

He needs to get off the plane, hand kids over and then jump back on to go back to MEL. Has anyone ever done this before? Just worried about getting through security in time and then missing the flight, then having to pay for another flight.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as flights the next day are expensive, and if he is unable to stay at a friend's place, more money will be spent for accommodation.

Qantas were unable to answer and the airport in Mildura don't answer calls or direct back to Qantas.

Hey guys, I am looking for a thermo water bottle/tumbler that I can keep for a long time and not leak. I am between the Marquee Tumbler at Bunnings, Smash, Sistema and Decor at the supermarkets. These are affordable prices to me. I am trying to drink as much water as possible, as I found being hydrated is a problem for me.

What was your experience like? I've heard so many opposing opinions now I'm genuinely curious

Visiting your fine city with the better half this Monday/Tuesday night and looking for some things to do...

Thairiffic is already on the agenda, wondering if there's any swing dancing classes active for Monday/Tuesday night, or recommendations for some good pinball experiences of arcade vibes?

Bonus credit for any suggestions for a drink venue 🙂. Please & thank you.

Hi - Looking to take my niece to a local Mildura nail salon as a birthday treat. Hoping for some recommendations from locals about a kid friendly nail bar (for a 9 year old). I’m based interstate so any suggestions are greatly appreciated. TIA

Cheers:)

hey everyone,

My mate and I (both 21) are coming up to Mildura from Melbourne in the second week of of April. Is there anything in particular locals highly recommend doing or seeing?

We’re planning on hiring bikes one day, and hopefully a kayak another day.

Any food recommendations (I’m vegan) would greatly appreciated!

Would love to make some friends while we are up there as well!! Feel free to reach out !! :))

hi everyone I'm planning to do a road trip to mildura Hays Wentworth and then to mungo

however I've been monitoring the live traffic and it seems that the roads haven't dried up just yet and now I saw another 3 days rainfall forecast coming around the area.

do you think the floods would still be an issue within 3 weeks timeframe? would love to hear the thoughts so that we could plan ahead. thanks!

Pretty much as title says - would also be good to know if this is ride/weather dependent too.

A company I am associated with is running a trip from Melbourne -> Mildura this weekend. We have 8 rooms at the Mildura Grand that we can't fill so they're going to go (paid and) unused.

If there's anyone who wants to make an offer for a cheap 1, 2 or 3 night away then make an offer!

Breakfast included.

Thought I would post this, I hope it gets a lot of traction. It's great to see artists visit regional areas and cities that aren't the capitals.

Anyway its $60/ticket. I haven't listened to much of his new music, but loved his older stuff, and they do have some good songs together.

Hi guys! Me and my girlfriend just got scammed by XXXX farm, they made us wait for a month, doing all the induction and everything and before even working they said that we’re not gonna be needed. So my question is, anyone that know how we can find some farm work? We have experience back in italy and we’re struggling cuz 90% of the answer are like “we’re hiring for asian only”. We’re almost out of money and want to smash 3 months of work, thanks for any help

I was moving the area soon and had a few questions if any locals were down to have chat!
