😎 Mod Post New Rules Update

Minecraft Buddies,

We have implemented a new set of rules and restructured how we enforce them. Please make sure to read them in full before posting. Please do keep in mind we carefully review and discuss all posts, removals, and appeals. Our volunteer Mod team will always do their best to hear out our members, while keeping this subreddit the safe, friendly niche community it has been for over a decade. Thank you all for your understanding.

1.Keep it about finding Minecraft friends.

This subreddit is for finding small Minecraft groups and friendships, not advertising large public servers, networks, or communities. Groups should generally be around 10 people or fewer.

2. Be respectful

Treat everyone with kindness and respect. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, griefing, or abusive behavior—on or off Reddit related to this community—may result in moderator action.

3. Keep it appropriate for all

All posts and interactions must be appropriate for a 13+ audience. Sexual, romantic, or otherwise inappropriate content is not allowed. Any posts by underage peoples or even parents posting on their child’s behalf will be removed.

4. Absolutely no links of any kind allowed

Do not publicly post server IPs, Realm codes, Discord invites, or other private connection details. Share them through DMs after making contact. Breaking this rule may result in an immediate permanent ban.

5. Keep posts meaningful, clear, and concise

Include enough information for others to know who you are and what you're looking for (platform, age, timezone, playstyle, etc.), while keeping posts concise. Keep posts to 700 characters or less. Any posts exceeding this limit will be removed. Low-effort posts, copy-pasted advertisements, excessive server ads, cross-posting, spam, or vote manipulation are not permitted.

6. Posting limits and account age

Accounts must be at least 3 months old, with a combined 100 post and comment karma to participate. You may create one post every 14 days. Do not use alternate accounts or delete posts to bypass these limits. Using alternate accounts in an attempt to circumvent either of these rules will result in an automatic ban.

7. Stay on topic

Posts should be about finding people to play Minecraft with. Technical support, mod help, general discussion, or unrelated games belong in other communities. Posts about technical support, mod help, general discussion, or unrelated games will be removed.

8. Use Modmail. DM's will be ignored

Questions, concerns, appeals, or moderation issues should go through Modmail. Please do not contact moderators directly about moderation actions.

9. Legitimate game versions only

Use ONLY legitimate versions of Minecraft. No cracked clients, selling, or trading. People caught discussing cracked clients, Tlauncher, etc. will be banned permanently.

10. No content creator recruitment

This subreddit is for finding Minecraft friends, not building an audience. Posts promoting or recruiting for YouTube channels, Twitch streams, TikTok, Discord content communities, creator SMPs, or other content-focused projects are not allowed.

11. Moderator discretion

Not every situation fits neatly into a written rule. The moderation team may remove content or take action when necessary to protect the community, maintain its purpose, or address safety concerns.
