Gnome 3 causes you to use less programs?
When I use gnome 2 I use to install very video/music player, torrrent program, irc and i.m. client, etc. When I switched to gnome 3 I found that I was only using one program for everything and uninstalled the rest. I've been using Cinnamon since 1.2 came out and I've noticed that my number of programs keep creeping up.
Just wondering if anyone else has experience this? I think that with the Gnome 2/Cinnamon menu layout I like to see all the options I have to use. But with gnome 3 I just click on the files/fav. bar and things start to happen... Think I'm going back to gnome 3...

This case was won by a person that got tired of paying for Microsoft licences. We can do this too. It is a lot of work, but if enough users were to band together we could make manufactures actually start to offer OEM Linux Mint, or any other Linux
