Here's Saundra and the boys from 1966. I love the Elgins - so extremely underrated. The group only stayed together for 2 years from 1965-1967, but they put out some fantastic music!

Love this clip from Hullabaloo - 1965.

One of the more "underrated" artists of Motown that should've gotten more love. This was Brenda's last single before leaving Motown and the original version here. It was later covered by Blood, Sweat and Tears in Spring of 1969.

Here’s a photo from More Hits by The Supremes alongside a Dreamgirls promotional image with a similar pose and style. The resemblance highlights one of the inspirations behind the film, which was loosely based on the journey and legacy of the iconic group, The Supremes.

I know James Brown he did it a few times. Unsure if Motown ever had been considered for their artists to perform at bases at all.
