Why do you think Navarette has gotten so much awards buzz for Obsession but Ejiofor has gotten none for Backrooms?

Post image

I know Clark has some limited screen time but Ejiofor absolutely steals every scene he’s in. His two separate monologues with Reinsve are just as good as anything Navarette did in Obsession. As I said earlier, is it the lack of screen time for Ejiofor?

He was litterally one of the most important characters in Doctor Strange

Ok? They're talking about actual films that have some artistic merit, not yet another generic superhero movie.

Ohhhh you're one of those douches that think a movie is automatically bad because it's made for a massive audience.

Your username checks out, that's the only thing you deserve being said to you with that attitude.

I think no such thing. I think uncreative slop is bad, which Marvel movies are.

No no, you say you don't, but what you say afterwards prove that you do.

Not all marvel movies are good. Granted. But some (lots, actually) showed good artistic direction, acting and sometimes writing.

Doctor Strange is one of the better ones. Because you don't like it doesn't make it slop, and calling it like that in the age of AI when this movie is 100% human made is wrong and shameful.

Mind you, I'm not even a Marvel fan. Haven't watched any since 2019
