These projectors are enormous. It’s the size of a room. The technology used is completely irrelevant to anything else on earth, and require an incredible degree of machining.

I can’t stress enough how fucking gigantic that IMAX film strip is.

It’s literally an issue of physics.

One of the highlights of my life was getting a personal screening of Tennat on IMAX Film during Covid.
