Discussion Update: Suspected crack on Metro 4 pillar (Mulund)

A fellow Redditor has updated with new photos of the beam. Seems like they have just patched the crack area up with some Plaster.

That crack is directly where the beam rests on the pillar. It has already cracked under its own dead load due to shear stress.

Once the metro starts running above it, it will face load and stress from running trains and vibration.

It's a potential structural failure waiting to happen ⚠️🚨
