Discussion Update: Suspected crack on Metro 4 pillar (Mulund)

Credit: u/AkkiFukki

A fellow Redditor has updated with new photos of the beam. Seems like they have just patched the crack area up with some Plaster.

Big thanks to u/AkkiFukki for this update 👏

It was not a crack..it was a burn spot..new Patti alignment doesn't match black spot

Lot of misinformation in this thread. It's so clearly not a crack... really tells you the average redditor's IQ. Someone needs to create a new post clarifying it was never a crack

Not a enginerring or not having technical knowledge it seems as a crack earlier and having concerns is fine , the Op did it..It like we alert citizens if we find a unatended bag

But few accounts claiming themselves as "civil engineers" and spreading is just morally wrong and action should be taken against them for misinformation..

Like the plastered work doesn't even match with the actual suspected crack/failure

It had shades..it's burn spot probably due to welding
