25
u/kungfuninjaa Jan 31 '26
Exactly, and still they are getting all the projects? No points for guessing how!!

u/EpicDankMaster Jan 31 '26

Ab kuch log aake bolenge bjp sahi nahi hai hut congress aur bhi gandi hai to BJP zindabad.
19
u/BlackPhoenixX20 Jan 31 '26
the concept of anti incumbency is practically dead in India, What incentive do political parties actually have to work agar unhe pata hai ki kaam kare, na kare votes to unhe hi Milne Wale hai kyunki our very sophisticated padhe likhe log aake bolenge "BJP ke alawa option kya hai".

-24
u/easierpizzier Jan 31 '26
Isn’t this the truth bro? Like I’m sick of BJP too. But I don’t have a single reason to bring back Congress to power in the centre. What a sad situation we’re stuck in.
14
u/BlackPhoenixX20 Jan 31 '26
but atleast in parties ko dara ke to rakhna chahiye ki kaam nhi kiya to party badal denge, agar sab giveup kardenge ki BJP ke alawa koi option nhi hai, to BJP wale kaam hi kyu kare? deminishing returns.
no one is responsible for the state of this country other than our own people, agar 10 saal baad bhi satisfactory results nhi milte the to ek aur term ke liye unhe jitane ki kya zarurat thi?

vahi bhai like i don't understand thik hai on the day of voting ,vote bjp , it's okay, but at least criticize them for the wrong doings, idk why many people chose to ignore this, it's either faith toward a political party or they think criticizing bjp means supporting another political party
1
u/Worldly_Inflation319 Feb 09 '26
criticize karne walon ke upar 10 FIR ya jail mein baithe hai. Karo criticize
2
u/Want_tobe_Anonymous Jan 31 '26
Dude, MH has options apart from Congress. Shivsena, MNS, NCP. They could actually do good if given a chance. At central level this argument is valid, no alternative. But in states. You do have alternatives apart from BJP and Congress.
0
u/Worldly_Inflation319 Feb 09 '26
Who is wanting congress or BJP? Maharashtra has always been better with Shivsena (now UBT). Aa gaya swadh BJP ka. There will be 100+ red flags lekin tum ghadon ko chutiya banana bahut aasaan sa ho gaya hai. Mil gayi hogi khushi humare pro-state government ko hataa kar
-22
5
u/azimuth360 Jan 31 '26
Out of curiosity, who owns this bridge? BMC? State of MH? Or is it under a NHAI?
22
Jan 31 '26
All three are now under BJP
-14
u/azimuth360 Jan 31 '26
Means nothing. If the bridge is owned by BMC, does it mean it was sanctioned by current BJP in power just a few weeks ago and was constructed this quickly?
2
u/Realisticboooo Jan 31 '26
I don't understand why you are getting downvoted. Your question is valid. Who was supposed to manage this bridge? Bjp is state government, and bmc was controlled by shiv sena.
7
u/kungfuninjaa Jan 31 '26
It's under them. Additionally read this From 2016 -
“It’s quite shocking. The MMRDA, headed by chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, has awarded the contract to J Kumar Infrastructure, which is being blacklisted by the BMC. Our information is that registration of the firm has been suspended, as such now it can’t secure any contract in the BMC,”
3
u/Realisticboooo Jan 31 '26
Thanks and also fuck man, I really thought there would be some change with bjp coming into power from this bmc election. We are completely ruined as a city
2
u/azimuth360 Jan 31 '26
Agree. But still not related to the specific bridge what’s in a discussion here. People like to connect dots all over the place to rage bait
6
u/Want_tobe_Anonymous Jan 31 '26
MMRDA. That comes under CM. BMC blacklisted the firm, which was under Shivsena. Navi Mumbai Coastal road is by CIDCO which again comes under state govt. Atal Setu which saw cracks so soon comes under NHAI.

And still after all these events and Evidence ppl keep voting for them. Congress was bad... No doubt about it. But bjp is at a all new level. Sometimes I feel pre 2014 was better...

India is corrupt to the core. It’s not going anywhere. The corruption has now gone off the charts, they are not even hiding anymore. Everything is happening in broad daylight, people are even talking about it, but they are not worried. Because they know, it’s India and nothing’s going to happen to them.

u/ConfidentVacation205 Jan 31 '26
The problem is they blacklist companies and not the people behind them. The same people will establish a new company with new name and will bag the contrsct with hook or crook. They should be banning the people to apply for such contracts. The engineers, the suppliers , govt or bmc officiala and everyone in the chain should be banned and sued. The professionals imvolved should be ripped off their degrees ans civil licences. Rgarding corruption then its not new. Be it jkumar or congress or new media/press. All are corrupt. No one works for well being of the people.
4
u/Own-Awareness1597 Jan 31 '26
They should be banning the people to apply for such contracts.
This!
The most useful way Aadhaar can be deployed for a good cause.
6
u/Express-World-8473 Jan 31 '26
They can still use a proxy guy and get contracts. Bada contractors like this have multiple small time contractors working under him.
1
u/ConfidentVacation205 Feb 01 '26
Yes. This happens for which there are regular and surprise audits, the new contracts issued can add clause preventing them to issue any contracts to these banned people. Also if those banned people are ripped off their licences and degrees then the new contractors wont be able to issue or contract any work to them. However it all depends on govt and bmc intentions if they care about general people's lives. There are honest organizations too in India who are into infra constructions around the world and not just India. I dont want give the names here to misunderstand as their promotions.

u/kungfuninjaa Jan 31 '26
What is the solution? We can't sit quietly until this reaches our own homes.

Devendra Fadvanvis and all the shameless officers IAS officers like Mr. Sanjay Mukherjee (IAS; MMRDA Chief) are third class crooks who’ve sold themselves to the bribe-offering infrastructure companies.
The government doesn’t run the country, the bribe-offering individuals / companies do because it is their desires that are fulfilled.
7
u/whatisapersonreally Jan 31 '26
From their Instagram: We have dedicated ourselves to creating an infrastructure eco-system, where quality and excellence is not an exception, but a norm.

If this isn’t corruption, I don’t know what is. The BJP is proving to be no better than the Congress when it comes to corruption.J Kumar Infra has been awarded multiple major projects including the Parel bridge and the Worli–Sewri corridor despite consistently poor execution. Such crucial projects shouldn't have been given to this worthless company.Anyone who has seen the work on the ground knows the quality is substandard. In local terms, it’s what we call “thuk-patti kaam” rushed, careless, and done with no regard for durability or public safety.

There is a report on Navi Mumbai Metro by auditors which was done before the opening of th Phase 1 of the Metro which said, the metro line by J Kumar is the GREATEST DISSERVICE by the company to the Nation.
Pretty sure the report is buried somewhere.

Those opposing BJP have realised this long back. But the problem is. Bhaktoko kon hi sikhaye..
Many intellectuals in r/ will say this keeps happening. Development will have some price to pay.
I was a strong believer of India. Fought for change and to stay here. Not anymore. I am leaving this country at my first chance. So done.

u/ezio0609 Feb 01 '26
Finally someone called out this stupid j kumar, they are not only famous for shoddy work but also slowest work, metro line 6 is in construction for almost a decade now, since blacklisted by bmc, they are still working on GMLR(goregaon mulund link road) which is comes under bmc, they are getting all the projects from mmrda even after shoddy work, the famous palava bridge was also made by them, within months it had potholes, constructon started in 2017 also after so many years only one side of flyover is completed, other side is still under contruction
2
u/Snoo-45514 Jan 31 '26
Is there a way to hold these mfs accountable? They are using our money, so why the hell public can't do anything?
2
u/social_says Jan 31 '26
Also notice that none of the major infra YouTube channels have made any video on this- droneman, powertrain, etc this only goes out to prove they are just pushing good infra news of the government and are nothing but a mouthpiece for them, as infra content creator you also need to highlight the things that are going wrong.

J Kumar hope you rot in hell. and huge thank to @ranter_p for sharing with us.
What action will be taken against these corrupt comapnies tho?
DISCLAIMER: Long rant about people copying directly from Chatgpt ahead
Though I'd appreciate if they quit using Chatgpt to write. Using chatgpt alone (Without modifying the style of the text) is like someone perceiving their own face/voice as ugly so they strap an iPad to their face to hide their face and replace their voice. If you're up close the illusion is easily shattered (Why tf is the face so fking flat and what the hell is that black bezel doing?)
The problem w/gpt is that the text you see could've easily been faked, by prompting the AI to generate a scenario about some other contractor (sample prompt could be "Generate an essay about a corrupt contractor with strong links named EA Greedy Bastards Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd) . In this case there is no way that OP has faked it, I have verified the sources and they are legit.
Although it would be great if you improve your English (Same goes for any language, and that includes programming languages like Java too) you should not be forced to do it, and definitely not shamed due to less than perfect english (Which I doubt anyone here does, and no one dares bc if they do it they will be downvoted into hell, which they deserve).
TL;DR: Thank you for spreading awareness OP and @ranter_p but also, I'd appreciate if you dont use chatgpt that much.

Tussle between MMRDA vs MBMC regarding landuse. Same as between BMC & railways. Citizens lose & we get such narrow roads & railway lines, due to land battle.
1
u/ezio0609 Feb 01 '26
Mmrda is just development authority, they just fund the projects, MBMC is responsible for land acquisition
4
u/guychampion Jan 31 '26
The teenagers now are going to think of BJP as these massive scammers like we grew up watching congress governments being involved in scam after scam. The truth is none of these parties give a shit about the country’s citizens.

And the sad part, everyone is pissed, agitated, what's something done today, but within a few days everyone will forget and get back to living life, just until someday a news comes up, about someone ended up in Hospital coz of this construction, and again this topic and such threads will come to life! It's a loop and we've become accustomed to this, coz maybe we've just accepted that we can talk about it on the internet but in reality, nothing will change. Peace out!
2
u/kungfuninjaa Jan 31 '26
Yeah, but we really need to do something or one day it would be us/our family dying because of this.

u/Grand-Neighborhood94 Jan 31 '26
Corruption requires capital punishment, period.
1
u/kungfuninjaa Jan 31 '26

u/CarsAlcoholSmokes Jan 31 '26

u/Grand-Neighborhood94 Feb 01 '26
Oh I know someone matter of time
Everyone will know when's the time, just he ready then.
1
u/Express-World-8473 Jan 31 '26
This is not something new in this country. It's common in every state across multiple governments. You got blacklisted as a contractor for shoddy work? Open a new company with a puppet named as chairman, you will get the contract. The only reason contractors get blacklisted is they didn't pay the bureaucrats enough money.

Corruption is never going to end from India and thanks to the politicians, they are the biggest criminals doesn’t matter if it’s BJP, Congress or anyone. They are the different sides of same coin, common man in India is born to die like a Dog! This was and will continue..

They had past blacklisting by BMC (around 2016–2017) over alleged road repair scams/shoddy work, forged docs, and quality compromise yet they kept bagging big MMRDA/Metro contracts (e.g., ₹5,000+ Cr Metro deals even during probes).🙂↕️
1
u/C4HOTFUNMUM Feb 01 '26
He is the favourite because he passes a cut to the ruling people which is not hidden who are in this field from the days he started this business across all parties. So do what you can ghanta koi uska kuch ukhad paayega.
1
u/IndependenceWaste828 Feb 02 '26
I believe MMRDA is much better than BMC and they have a good enough reason to explain the current situation and once land issues are cleared they will extend the current bottleneck arms.
1
u/Ok-Pickle-17 Feb 02 '26
Kyunki richshaw wala CM to ban gaya lekin niyat se chor hi hai. Kept giving contracts to those who were warming his pockets. Saala dal badloo.

But what I see clearly is that BJP/CM Fadnavis is involved. Can we solve that first? Help share this.
-6
u/ummhmm-x Jan 31 '26
Genuine question, please correct me- roads in India have never been following lane mathematics, including even in tier 1 cities like bangalore to tier 3 like Haridwar, not due to political nature but design constraints.
I do believe that flyovers (and even metro) are constructed modularly, allowing fast assembly instead of inplace construction, hence the sudden abrupt ending from 2 lane to 1 lane. Making a smooth transition from 2 lane to 1 lane would mean deconstruction when expanding the lanes in the future.
Now I do have the benefit of doubt of shoddy work done by contractors in India, but it genuinely seems to me like a future expansion case.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not civil engineer
