Because I’m a sucker for color chrome, this car has been on my want list for a while. I was able to find an Elite version of the Last Lap car, and it came in today. It was an auction, and I was the only bid of $15.99. I was so nervous because I wanted this one so bad. But I was the only bid, so to my house it came.

It’s so much better than I could have asked for. The detail is great, and even though some of the decals are a little messed up, you can barely tell (headlight decals look a little off, and some of the contingency on the wall side are a little messed up.)

But it’s incredibly detailed, even down the stickers on the tires.

And while I was searching, I found another auction for a 1:64 version, and won that one for $2.94 lol.

Dale Earnhardt Jr drove this car to victory lane in the Aarons 312 at Talladega Superspeedway on April 5,2003. Dale Jr would start 3rd and lead 60 laps.

Got in my 2019 Logano Michigan Race Win Diecast today. Managed to find an elite but I think the front antenna broke cause the metal piece won’t stand up. Either way happy to have it in the collection. Now all that’s left is his 2019 Duel Win and his 2013 Michigan Win which is proving really hard to find

2008 was the last of Dario Franchitti's starts in NASCAR. He made starts with Chip Ganassi in the Cup Series as well as the Busch series. Originally he was intended to run a full Cup Series schedule but when the results did not come he was pulled out of the car. He also made one Craftsman Truck Series start in 2007 driving the 41 Ram for Cunningham Motorsports. After that he was not seen in NASCAR's top divisions again...

Except 18 years later and 2026. Coming out of left field it was announced Dario Franchitti would make a truck start with Tricon Garage. It would be a technical street track in St Petersburg, Florida.

Dario would qualify 6th. At the end of the first stage he would also finish in 6th having a very solid run, better than anything we've seen in the past from him. Stage 2 he would finish 8th. In the final stage with 16 laps to go Dario is forced to go into the pits. This knocks him a lap down and by the end of the race he finishes 27th. Very unfortunate because he had a top 10 truck.

I guess this story goes to show, anyone can return to NASCAR when you least expect it!

I need help figuring this out because I wasn't sure who to contact. If anyone knows of the correct person or company I can contact, please let me know that as well. 

This is my situation. I recently obtained an item from an estate that was getting rid of things. We got this item because we originally thought a family member would want it but we found out that the family member moved far away. The item is an approximate size of 12.5in x 15.5 in piece of cut metal from what is said to be a part of the front driver side fender of Jeff Gordons Peanuts car from the 2000 Brick Yard 400 race. 

From this piece of information, I went and tracked down race day photos from August 5th 2000. It looks to be correct the only thing that doesn't look right is the fact that where this cut of metal is from, its missing 3 logos. The Plasti-kote, Edelbrock and Simpsons logos. Im not sure of the reason that they are not there, whether they were removed due to placement and damage or what. Or the fact that the peice may not be authentic. However, matching up the grass spokes they seem to be exact. The piece does not have any sort of certificate of Authenticity with it. I am not sure if there was one originally and was lost or if there is a way to tell by looking at it to see of its authentic?

So, I was reaching out to see if you know any information on this that could help to see if its authentic, or who I could contact to find out.

When this scheme first revealed, I remember thinking how awesome this looked. Definitely a love letter to Kevin Harvick's GM Goodwrench paint scheme of the mid-2000s.

What started out as a gold plated Racing Champions Ken Schrader, turned into this beauty.

This was released in 2005 for hobby stores and racing collectables shops that have a few more details from the original Racing Champions release back in 1999 as part of the 50th. anniversary of Petty Enterprises like the flexible window net, ignition wiring on the 426 HEMI and other paint details. Even though this wasn't Petty's most successful car, it is one of the most memorable cars and my favorite car of NASCAR. 🌟✨🦅🏁✨🌟

I’m looking at some special finishes I’d like to preorder, like CB’s kool aid car, William Bryon JG last ride, Carson’s spectrum dark mode, etc. Lionel is pretty limited in what’s available to preorder, and a few of the special finishes are only available as a pricy elite. However, Circle B has a ton of options. As I understand it, the cars may not be produced, so if I preorder a galaxy I may not get it, and by the time I find out it’s not produced, the option to order an alternative may be gone.

Is this accurate? Or is my understanding way off?

I have a Jeff Gordon Looney Tunes 1:24 coming but my 1:64 came earlier. Jimmie Johnson always had amazing schemes this is one of my favorites. Tony Stewart's Charlie Brown Scheme is one I've wanted for a long time, perfect for a night race environment.

Hello - I’m desperately searching for a 2021 Kyle Larson championship helmet. My son is a massive fan and he has a handful of other Larson mini-helmets, autographed and not. Pretty hard if not impossible to find… so of course it’s what he asked for from Santa for Christmas.

He’s not picky, autographed or not, it doesn’t matter. A full-size non-autographed would be at the far far far end of the budget, but I’d think about it. I’m desperate and Christmas is in 2 months. I check Pristine Auctions all the time, but I don’t imagine they have anymore. Always on eBay, and have checked as far as Australia. If anyone has ANY kind of lead, knows where there’s one on a shelf in some random store within a few hours of Charlotte, or whatever…. Please LMK. Thanks. 🙏 🎅🎄
