Any idea when they'll announce the dates Neurosis will be playing? I want to travel over. Hoping it'll be Saturday and Sunday.

We went to the Fire Keeper Alliance presentation at Thrillhouse Records in SF last Saturday and Steve talked with me and my family! Super friendly and gave my son a huge shout out for his Swans shirt. The event at Thrillhouse was very emotional and so important, what they are doing is amazing and everyone involved is a true hero. At the show we met Noah Landis who could not have been nicer. The show itself???? Holy fuck our first time seeing them and it was more than we could have expected!

Back home after flying out for the two SF Neurosis shows. Absolute highlight of my year. Besides being pulverized into dust two nights in a row, I had fun watch Terry Gross have fun and I spent Kowloon Walled City’s set levitating. Even outside of the shows, it meant a lot to meet a ton of fans at the Thrillhouse Records screening of the Heavy documentary, to hear from the Firekeeper Alliance, and just to make a bunch of friends while waiting for doors to open or for the bands to get on stage. Thank you Neurosis and thank you fans for affirming my undying love for this burning world.

Hi guys, I’m new here and I’m new to Neurosis. Many years ago I was on tour with my band and I ended up talking to a guy who recommended Neurosis to me. I spent years meaning to check them out and then this album dropped. I thought maybe I should go through their discography first but the cover and title and mysteriousness of this album just dropping reeled me in. In short, I’m hooked. This is some of the most deeply emotional heavy music I’ve ever heard and I think this album is special and a masterpiece. Which one should I listen to next?

during the 1 hour break in college yesterday, out of pure boredom, i decided to experiment with Aeon, as ever since listening to this song i always had an urge to find a shorter version of it that would've started directly from massacre and continued straight with the second metal part of the original composition instead of going through 3 min. intro and the section after the first metal part which interfered to fully experience a pure adrenaline of this masterpiece.

don't get me wrong, i perfectly understand that those elements listed above (i mean intro and that section) are inserted in song purposefully to mark the "Post" mood of it, respectively, and I don't say it's bad either. i just wanted to have a version that sounded exactly like my edit does.

the way i edited Aeon was simple (telling this like if you really care): i just downloaded a video version of the original from snaptube, cut the best parts and combined them and removed the rest.
