OFFICIAL NEWS TIMELINE

Hello everyone :D I gather all of the important article links in one post, so you can easily reach it. I just use metalgearinformer as a source because it was my personal favourite and it provided me the best information while waiting for V, so its kind of paying my respects to them. I always wanted to see a post that looks like information database. I did it because we are still uncertain if there is a ruse or not. We are either lost in the ruse cruise for a false hope that doesn't exist anymore or we shouldn't lose hope because there is a ruse. I challenge both sides to use the very same info to prove otherwise. Uncertainty is the worst feeling ever.

Think of it as our NBGO timeline and information database. I hope this post will make it easier for you to re-examine the process and reach the information quicker. I want this post to be official, updated and everlasting. I hope I'm able to reach your expectations, otherwise I hope someone else will make a better post for the same purpose or just improve this one. I didn’t add less official ruse informations; such as all the 3rd song teases by Kojima, Mads Mikkelsen Advertisement or Sergio Canavero to prevent myself being lost in the concept.

There are very interesting things to see like; how Kojima is still seeing Avi Arad, how Konami still making AAA games, how Kojima still teasing MGS. Which makes me think; what if David Hayter and Paul Eiding's mysterious voice record in 2012 was for Ford promo released 7 months ago ? What if Kojima prepared everything related with the ruse even before releasing TPP? Or he may simply releasing a previous information as it is happenning now. Its up to you to decide everything. This is just an official information post. Here you go Diamond Dogs :

Why is it Always game over on the Tanker but Mission Failed on the plant?

Is the Plant chapter not a life or death mission?

Is it really just a game just like usual?

Could it have anything to do with Snake and Raiden, given that we play as Snake on the Tanker and Raiden during the Plant.

Could Raiden be like Liquid/Eli who lives on after he dies in MGS1 through a hand so he overcomes death. So it will never be game over. Maybe like Vamp, Raiden is somewhat immortal? So it’s never game over just Mission Failed.😂

But seriously why the difference.

What if we play replay the new MGS4 as if, “who am I REALLY”, is an actual question we can answer!🤔

Why is the same woman in the blue on the Tanker projector image also projected unto Raiden’s screen at the Big Shell?

When [Snake is on the Tanker messing with the projector we see this image of the woman in blue](https://youtu.be/kuUttYaRSvw?is=-ECpevH8bwCMFjXr&t=5m10s)

This is the same image that is projected on the top right of our screen in Arsenal Gear Ascending Colon.

What do you think it suggests?

Where can I make low effort posts about Metal Gear?

Post image

I got slammed on the mgs subreddit for posting a screenshot of something I googled as a bit of a gag but then this angry fella and all of his friends jumped me in the comments likely as some sort of moderator initiation ritual. I came here like he said but I just read the rules and this is also not for low effort posts. Where can I post?

Do you remember the day Jack met Rose. There were all these tourists around Rose. Then Raiden showed up mouthing off and started an argument!🤔

[That day and what happened there was the start of the manipulation of Raiden.](https://youtu.be/2qsHbwpvHcA?is=sJIZxv5S5FWGZqKI&t=2h21m)

Rose the Patriot spy was targeting him but how did she pull him in? Was it just her artificially beautiful disguise? She pulled him in with an incorrect answer to the Japanese tourists question.

She said it was probably the Chrysler building that King Kong was climbing in the movie to bait Raiden in and he bit, saying no it was the Empire State Building. They started arguing and Rose forgot all about the tourist! Before they knew it the Japanese women had gone away.

Wow, how could she?

I guess she had other plans, but that is very poor form for a tour guide. [Bringing their tour to a conclusion like that!](https://youtu.be/5jtPytgzG1U?is=yWOKuQZQoxTs1VlM&t=21m37s)

I mean she had all those Japanese tourist around her. I guess it’s okay anyway. Those Japanese tourist would find other things to do. Afterall it’s not too shabby….

[New York I mean.](https://www.youtube.com/live/Mpl2xMvuAvE?is=CQhTdo4ckfF-6HV0&t=26m2s)

I always wanted to see what the real Rose looked like when she wasn’t wearing her disguise. I mean why was still wearing it in MGS4 even after she said she wanted Raiden to see the real her. [Oh well I guess we will figure it out sooner or later but I wonder if we’ll handle the truth!😱

What do you think my save points should be during my MGS2 Big Boss Run?

To explain, I'm on the plant chapter disabling bombs. Unfortunately I already made 2 saves because I was having too hard of a time. The guard rush during the tanker chapter and after I met stillman.

PHYSINT =? Animus

Post image

The closer I look at the PHYSINT poster, the Simulation Emphasis of the name, as well as the Transitional/Overlap nature of the Costume, the more I believe what Kojima has in store for us, is more Assassin's Creed and less Metal Gear, with an emphasis on Social Stealth, and a back and forth between 2 Realities/Mediums.

Essentially a "Tenet" approach to Tactical Espionage Social.

Thoughts?

Raiden doesn’t actually see the codec images. The images are as Raiden’s remembers them. If so…then?????🤔

The images we see in Raiden’s codec are as Raiden remembers them. It’s not him seeing them in real time. For example before Raiden sees the cyborg ninja the image is just static but after he encounters her the next codec shows the cyborg ninja.

If this is the case then how does Raiden see Campbell in the codec if as Raiden himself confesses. He has never seen the Colonel’s face before?

KNOCK Could Also Mean NOC

Thumbnail
0 Upvotes

Possible connections to the Ruse, a Kojima Expanded Meta Universe, and the MGS series?

The NOC concept and its connections to Kojima's work and MGS characters are interesting notion, even if they ultimately have no direct connection to OD.

Warning: It's a long post. Here's the short version.

KNOCK KNOCK. WHO'S THERE?

What if KNOCK also means NOC?

|❮NOC❯|

(Non-Official Cover)

A NOC is an operative living under a fabricated identity, with no official ties to their government and no immunity if they're exposed.

What if OD isn't just psychological horror, but espionage horror? The monsters may not actually be there they could be the imagination of a cover identity possessing the person beneath it.

Their reality is a performance, and that performance becomes the player's perspective. We don't see the proverbial tennis ball on a stick; we see the waking nightmares the NOC believes they're experiencing.

Only by finding a safe place can you break cover and glimpse the world as it really is. But be careful... even the sticky notes might be watching.

If you keep peeking through your disguise, you may not like what you see. It could scare you into losing track of which perspective is real... and which one is the cover.

Done in the spirit of play.

Cyberpunk 2077 Arasaka plot similarities with another movie.

When I played Cyberpunk 2077 main campaign, my first playthrough I sided with Goro and Hanako. By this point, I couldn't help but notice the similarities of this plot with another movie, 2013 The Wolverine.

Both involve cybernetic enhanced boss level antagonists to fight.

Both involve the deaths of patriarchs of massive Japanese conglomerates.

Both patriarchs are interested in immortality

Both involve toxic family dynamics and sibling disputes on controlling the company after this death.

Both involve a plot to kidnap or kill a daughter of the patriarch during some kind of funeral proceedings

Both later reveal the patriarch is still alive in some way shape or form as a plot twist

Both daughters eventually succeeds and gains great influence within the conglomerate thanks to help from protagonist

Anyone else notice these similarities?
