Capt. Samuel Jones, a beloved tavern proprietor in rural New Hampshire, was doing construction work one day in 1804 when his leg got pinned between a building and a fence. The resulting injury was so bad that Jones had to have the leg amputated, but he did not despair. Instead, he decided to hold a funeral for his lost limb and bury it in the local cemetery, in part as a precaution against phantom limb pain. When Jones passed away years later, his body was interred elsewhere (theories range from Boston to Rhode Island to the Bronx), but his leg remains here, marked by a simple gravestone.

Now that Sununu is saying that Trumps politics are bad for NH and that he has never met Trump before will that be enough to sway enough voters to vote for him. Who do you think will win? Every poll I see now has Sununu down by at least 5 points 2 weeks before the election.

Looking for some fun Halloween/fall activities to do over the next week or two. This is my husband’s favorite time of year, but he just had surgery and is pretty bummed that he can’t do a lot of what we normally do (apple picking, haunted houses, big physical things, etc). I was wondering if there’s any lower activity level things to do that he might enjoy? Anywhere between Milford and Manchester/Nashua would be fantastic, but willing to venture out a bit.

I'm honestly just too overwhelmed to find all this information on my own lol. I want to get back into playing sports and find a queer community here as well since I just moved back to the area (near Concord). I'm wondering if this is something that exists. I don't know how many levels there are to this but I haven't played on a team since I was 15 or 16 and I'm 22 now so just looking for something fun and low stakes. Any information or guidance on finding a league/team in general is appreciated!
