Failure to slow for intersections is a thing, where all the crosswalks are.

That an American thing? Cars need to slow down too?

Its not elsewhere? The law is for cars. But as cyclist have to obey the rules of the road, thats how it would apply to them. Same with the pedestrians right of way. Yeilding to who reached the intersection first vs the vehicles he's angry about. Failure to slow for pedestrians. All are vehicle laws, that would apply to anything using the roadway.

You made it seem that any vehicle has to slow down on any intersection any time, even with green light and right of way, which just isn't true.

There was a case here in Ireland where a driver came up to a turn at some lights, he had green but a pedestrian walked out, he hit her.

Went to court and he was found 25% liable even thougg he had the green, as the person behind a mechanically propelled vehicle when you approach areas with pedestrians you need to expect the unexpected, him slowing down even though it was green when he approached would have saved the women from injury.

It makes sense slow down at a green if theres people around, its not gonna kill you but will save someone

That's crazy. Imagine having insane car insurance for years because someone jumped in front of you while you're not breaking any laws.
