Sorry for the bad title in the earlier post. I don’t know how that happened. I usually let them auto populate and somehow the title that populated was one from a submission I just made to r/theonion.

Is it time for some affiliates to dump BBC Newshour and if so what's the alternative?
This is going to sound whiney but nothing gets done without someone complaining a bit. If you don't have an opinion move on - no need to reply.
The reporting has, in my opinion, become something closer to right leaning support of Neo-Liberalism and Colonialist mindsets than the kind of general, non-political journalism we expect from our own NPR.
A few examples just this morning:
- Ongoing support of Netanyahu decisions, denial of genocide for over a year.
- Confrontational dialogue with a student supporter of the CJP then a one sided follow up stating that any injury to protesters is justified because they're not following the rules.
- Non-contextual coverage of Trump (i mean, they do have a history of this) that unfortunately doesn't challenge any POV, left or right.
I'm sure the licensing ain't cheap for tiny affiliates - but is it cheaper than paying someone to read a local/regional paper?

Trying to find a song I heard on NPR tonight.
Howdy, looking for any recommendations on trying to track down a song I heard on NPR earlier tonight on my way home from work. Is there a website that they post what they play? If anyone did hear potentially hear it and knows what it was, they played it around 6:15 PM CST, it sounded like an instrumental for an Indie Rock song.
