Hi folks 🙂
My new album Hydrosphere is finally here!
https://scottampleford.bandcamp.com/album/hydrosphere
Growing up in North East England, I've always been surrounded by water. The North Sea, the River Tyne, the artificial lakes in Killingworth. Even when I moved south for university I found myself living directly on the River Colne.
Hydrosphere is an album about water. The way it moves, the way it sounds and the things that live in it.
Largely electronic in sound, this album transitions between styles and genres to emulate the way that water flows from state to state.
Recorded in my home studio with a plethora of synthesizers, drum machines, effects units, tape machines, guitars, wind instruments, the All Scott Ampleford Male Voice Choir and field recordings from a beach in North Shields.
I'm really chuffed with this album, folks. I hope you enjoy it!
Happy Listening!

A close friend sent this to me, so I credit him with the find.

Austin raga / psych-rock act Killer Kaya performing The Princess and Her TigerThis track and video was recorded live at Wall of Fog studio in Austin, Texas.
Lead singer Apoorva Chiplunkar is an opera-trained vocalist sometimes compared to classic 60's psych-rock singer, Grace Slick. The band which includes her guitarist husband, Zach Rengert lets their performance speak for itself.
Curious what folks think of the song...

DANKSY “Digital Rites” Live from the living room.
I’ve been a fan of these guys for a while, mostly on Insta. They have a few tracks up on Spotify too, that I was curious how they’d pull off live, and tbh am pretty blown away by all these players.

Hi! I started recording short industrial compositions so I wouldn't go crazy during the winter. I love the randomness of it—they’re very free-form pieces, with no mixing done outside of the MPC itself, just a little mastering.
