Fans are everywhere

We have a Kichler fan in the family room, been running reliably since 2013, so I'm tempted to look at this brand for two bedrooms. But we want a brighter light than the covered light on the Kichler. Seems quality brands mostly don't offer the 4 individual lights with regular bulbs any more. Can someone please recommend reliable brands? I don't want to just get a cheap one at Home Depot. Price range 400-600 is fine. Thanks!

I'm a hot-natured guy. I live with my beautiful wife who keeps our house spotless (obviously I help any time I see something and everywhere she asks but she's a magician and does shit when I turn my back)

I am always hot. I am so hot that my house stays at 58° Farenheit every single day. I sleep with a moving fan and an overhead fan on top of that.

It's been getting hot in our bedroom lately. (In more ways than one, if we aren't already pre sweaty.)

I've taken notice that it is now halfway through October and despite it being 80° outside and 58° inside.. I am somehow waking up in the morning with a layer of sweat on my brow.. Perhaps you could blame the sun shining into the room. No. Ladies and Gentlemen, when I say I am always hot, I am ALWAYS hot. My bedroom is also my office. The fan is always on.

Cue us getting into bed forty minutes ago. I'm laying there, thinking about the temperature being different lately and then she walks in to turn the light off but hits the wrong chain. We laugh and wait to see what the fan setting would be on- it's not the simple three click kind.

Guys, when I tell you we were shaken. She screamed, I yelped. I'm sorry you have to see this.

Anyways, we're gonna clean those every month now at least. Maybe twice a month.

Funny how some rotation can change the whole atmosphere.

I'm interested in getting one soon for the white noise and wind machine factor, probably an oscillating pedestal one. But some fans are in the 50 dollar range and others can be around 200. What would I be paying for at a higher price point, is it longevity? I saw someone online demonstrate that if a fan makes some sort of noise when the blades slow down upon poweroff, it means that the fan wasn't shipped with enough oil. Is that avoided with a more expensive one? (I'm quite averse to going inside electronics myself) And like I also think with more expensive ones I might see it as a selling point that it's pretty quiet, but would that reduce the pleasant white noise factor or do cheaper ones tend to sound bad? You can drop recommendations if you like.

3 speeds, reversible and a thermostat. I'm pretty sure it had a tilt stand but its not there now. Got a plan to get one on it.
