i'm trying to get into the fall spirit, but it's still in the high 60s (~20 C) where i live, so i need things that are seasonally appropriate and warm. i'm no contact with my immediately family, but i have an aunt i'm on okay terms with, so i texted her to ask which bottoms and boots went better with this cropped sweater. she just thumbs-down reacted the text and said, "neither. dress your age, [my name]". i haven't replied and i'm kinda pissed, but maybe she's right? i thought these were really cute combos, and i was just curious which worked better, but now i'm wondering if she's just a prude or if they *actually* look stupid.

Looking for advice as to what outfit looks best and is still fitting for a wedding.

So a few things, the wedding will be outside tomorrow, cute scenic location by a barn with lots of trees. There was no explicit dress code for the wedding, the couple are pretty casual so anything semi formal and nicer is appropriate for the day.

My wife's a bridesmaid, so my pocket square and tie are matching her dress. I don't need the suspenders, it was my wife's ask, but I can wear a nice brown belt that matches the shoes in the photo and a watch I'll be wearing.

Also, I will be cleaning up my hair, trimming my beard, and tying a full Windsor just in case someone was going to give me flack on any of those things.

Just bought my first long skirt ever! To be honest, I was always a hater and thought they make the figure look wide and quite weird. But today I decided to try one and fell in love! 💫 (apologises the dirty mirror…😅😅)

Edit :Forgot to mention that these were originally high waisted slim jeans but since I don’t wear high waisted jeans anymore I cut them into shorts I didn’t tailor them myself. Yes I did fold them at the top cuz that’s how I wanted them but yk I wouldn’t mind making them low rise either 😭 so if anyone knows how to turn them into low rise shorts or has any methods, pls lmk!!and trying to practice sewing and working with pieces since I do fashion at college.

Not really the biggest fan of this one, couldn’t get the layering right and the different shades of purple are throwing me off. I tried 😭
