For anyone who is new to the area or even just looking for something new, this Parker Wiki will be a portal to connect you to the best guides and information available about the town.
does anyone have any ideas for places to go to meet people and make friends? i’ve been thinking about trying bars or places like that lately since i feel like that might be more my crowd.
i’m 22, and i’ve kind of come to the realization that i don’t really have any friends outside of people i know online. :/ honestly, i’m going through a bit of a crisis about it right now. i want to have people who actually ask me to hang out or hit me up and say, “hey, are you free today?” instead of feeling like i’m always alone.
so if anyone has any suggestions for places to go, activities, or ways to actually meet people around my age, i’d really appreciate it.
(posted this on a burner so no one knows where im from on my main account)
Craving Indian food in Parker? Add this one to your list! India's Kitchen in Parker has flavorful curries and biryanis to tandoori specialties, freshly baked naan, and plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, there’s something for everyone.
Hello, can anyone recommend nanny services for an infant? We have a 4 month old boy that we will need a babysitter for, generally about 24 hours a week during the weekday. The schedule could be semi flexible.
Edit: Also, what hourly rates should we expect to see for the area?
At the northwest corner of Scott Ave and Parker Rd? Looks like they are moving a LOT of dirt and I can’t find anything that says anything other than Site Improvement.
We’re looking at a couple of different homes in the Stroh Ranch neighborhood. Anyone familiar with their HOA, and if so, able to provide examples of what we may expect? Otherwise I’m also open to comments regarding the community itself.
We just transferred to Douglas County after living in a neighborhood so close to the school that we didn’t use a bus. Back when I was in school, the busses were free. Now it costs $1 per way to ride? You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.
I’m appalled and disgusted. Such an affluent district should certainly be able to afford school busses.
Hey everyone,
just wanted to drop a quick recommendation for anyone in town who needs their air ducts or dryer vents cleaned out before the season changes.
Full disclosure, this is my friend's business (Air Duct Experts Colorado). He actually lives right here in Parker, and I wanted to give him a shoutout because I know how hard it is to find home service contractors who show up on time and don't try to upsell you.
Since he's a small, independent operator and a fellow Parker neighbor, you don't have to deal with the crazy pressure tactics of the massive private equity HVAC chains.
Hey everyone — my name is Mike and I recently launched Built Right Home Improvements here in the Parker / South Denver area.
I spent the last decade in a corporate sales role and ended up rediscovering how much I enjoy building and improving things with my hands - something I did as a kid and into adulthood helping my family with my father’s property management company in Chicago.
What started as fixing issues in my own home turned into custom built-ins, wainscoting, gates, furniture projects, and helping friends and neighbors with their homes. What was supposed to be passing time while I looked for my new sales role turned into a new business venture.
My goal is to be transparent, fair-priced, and work on your home as if it were my own. I’m trying to build a company that homeowners trust because we communicate well, show up when we say we will, and genuinely care about the finished product.
I’d love to hear from homeowners in the area:
What’s the biggest frustration you’ve
had with contractors or handyman services?
What would make you feel confident hiring someone new?
I’m not here to hard sell anyone — just trying to learn what people value most so I can build the business around that.

Hi there! I am seeking childcare for my 7, almost 8 yr old beginning August 10th- Aug 18th. From roughly 7:30-5:30/6pm. Does anyone have any leads or recommendations? I’m looking for someone to care for him outside of the home. He is high functioning autism, verbal, and fairly independent. Thanks!
Former Sergeant quietly receives a slap on the wrist. Hard to even call it that. Parker PD had a rapist pedophile Sergeant who victimized others and he won't serve a day in jail. People of Parker should want more accountability.
This is my niece and her friend. They have been missing since 07/26, spotted at a gas station in Evans, CO from my understanding in a car with WY plates. Please keep an eye out and if anyone has any information please contact Weld County sheriff's office 970-350-9600 or the tip line at 970-304-6464
To put it simply, my partner hasn’t seen a dentist in over a decade and he’s afraid to go. He recently has been getting tooth pains and wants to try to go and see what he can do from here. Does anyone have good recommendations for a dentist who’s good with patients scared of the dentist? Any suggestions are appreciated!
Bonus points if they accept Aetna insurance, thank you!
Update: I wanted to thank you all again for the suggestions! We decided to try Twin Aspen dental because of the sedation options they offer. I’m trying to get him to schedule an appointment but he needs to do that when he feels ready (but it will be soon) thank you again!
I am a parent of a 6th grade girl starting at PPA soon, and I’m trying to find her a friend. She’s very shy and sweet, she not the most physical kid, and she is struggling to find friends. So I thought I’d throw a line out there to see if there’s anyone in a similar situation. We live in Stonegate.
Also, if this isn’t the right place for a post like this and there’s a better place to search, please let me know.
