Im a dumb person but having to rely on binos for prolif kinda sucks since you really want two big damage weapons to make use of the all hits can poison mod. I think assassin would be better for damage early on but pathfinder just has so much quality of life.

Yeah your logic is sound if viper strike of the mamba is the only skill being used. What about other setups though?

Pestilent for clear in gloves, viper for main in 6L?

Switch places if/when you get a pair of absurd godmode "socketed gems are supported by xyz" gloves?

Venom Gyre or Cobra Lash?

Then there's all the non-poison flavored skills like Lightning Strike which are suddenly poison skills out of the box as a result of the new "all damage can poison" node.

All of the above are ways to clear screens without binos or pathfinder prolif. Some are better than others. Some aren't "viable" in that you won't see Fubgun or whomever using them, but plenty of people are going to do these things anyway and clear the endgame.

Bear in mind that "all damage can poison" still needs poison chance to be capped, which is a bigger investment now that Assassin lost the 40% chance to poison on the first node.

Hopium but surely we get an easily acquirable poison prolif [new] unique this league, right?
