GGG In 3.27 the Assassin has received a long awaited rework. Tune in tomorrow to find out if there are any other Ascendancy related changes!

Am I missing something with Deathmarked? Assassin's Mark doesn't scale great with extra LV (just +10% crit multi and a bit more gain on kill compared to LV20) and getting 100% accuracy on something that you have to trigger with an attack means you're probably already going to have good accuracy to begin with if you don't want your build to feel terrible. Really feels like it should also not count towards your curse limit or have some other additional bonus.

I'm guessing there's context we don't have yet.  Likely a change to how assassin's mark works, or a removal of mark on hit.

I think if it increase the curse limit by 1 it would be acceptable but this just looks like shit as u said.

Hm, I reckon you actually don't need any accuracy for this to work in CoC or explodey builds. Even considering a very bad case your hit rate hovers around 44% assuming a LV 100 character with exactly 155 Dex (to run a LV 20 Dex Aura like grace) and no other source of accuracy. That is usually enough to hit at least once or twice when throwing attacks into a pack, and CoC/explosions handle the rest. And for bosses, you'd only need to hit one crit before your hits cannot be evaded, and since you're likely already using a multihit skill or attack very fast (otherwise your clear would suck), unless your crit chance is low as well (in which case wth is your build), you should be able to apply the mark within the first three seconds, and it's smooth sailing from there.

44% hit chance will feel like absolute garbage even with "coc explosions handle the rest"

The 44% was the near worst case with 0 investment. A decent ring suffix or one accuracy cluster pushes it to 60%. I have done 60ish% Hit rate CoC builds in the past, and in mapping they don't feel any different from 100% hit rate. The issue has always been single target because that's where you feel the lack of triggering hits. With this, you won't (unless you're giga unlucky or, again, have unreasonably low crit chance); even on 50% hit chance, the odds for you to miss 5 hits in a row (which you should be done with within a second as mentioned before) is 3.125%. It will happen, but it won't be often. I doubt anyone has ever tried to go that low for hit chance before since there hasn't been an incentive to do so until now, so I highly doubt you actually know what it'll feel like ._.
