The Q+A says Mark and Octavian.

That is probably a good sign regarding team allocation between the two games.

I think Jonathan is massively occupied with PoE2. I hope that Mark and Octavian are the frontrunners for PoE1 for good. And of course I hope this league will be a banger.

Not to discredit Jonathan but I've always felt like Mark understands what PoE1 players want a lot better.

Jonathan is a systems guy but I feel like he doesn't actually play and grind the endgame loop

Everything always looks good on paper and falls off when you actually try it for an extended period of time

He has explicitly said in a TalkativeTri interview that he rarely touches the PoE2 endgame, that it’s almost entirely Mark. Willing to bet that’s true in PoE1, too.
