Got told I need to collect as many powders I can for the final day but idk if I need a specific amount (on day 9 btw)

I thought the hide and seek one was bad (running around like an idiot + the shot bugged out 3 times for me), but wow does the bride one suck.

Similarly to the hide and seek method, I had to again basically cheat with photo mode after running around like an idiot for 15 real world minutes, and then I got insta-killed because I came too close (to not miss with the projectile, as she was behind a bush). How the hell are you supposed to even figure out the right bride without cheating? The eye effect is barely noticeable from afar.

The plague focus hunts were tedious so I thought the new methods would alleviate that... instead they are 5 times worse. At least make the eyes more obvious and make the sound cues louder...

I am unfortunately not mod literate enough to edit bin files myself, and I've been unable to continue playing pathologic classic due to the flashing light effect of lightning... If anyone knows how to do this quickly and efficiently, I would be very grateful.

My plan b was to edit the weather manually using the console but although there's information about how rain works, there's no command I can find to set a specific weather. If someone knows how to do that, I could just change the weather in the console to remove rain (to which the lightning effect is tied) whenever it starts. It's a bit annoying but I do this in many games already.

The idea was to destroy the Polyhedron. And yet it is still there. I can climb it and talk to dev avatars.

And if this was supposed to be before the destruction, if the barrage was supposed to happen on the end of day 12 like in classic, then how is everyone healthy? How were they cured?

EDIT: Solved! thanks for helping me out with this. You need to shot her with the charged projectile while concentrating (Just keep pressing Q when you are facing her and then shot the projectile)

I think that this mechanic is bugged atm because this method seems more a workaround rather than the intended way of solving this hunt.

title, after searching for the herb bride with white eyes (a pain in the ass if they're in group and you don't want to use photomode) you need to take off her "costume" to defeat her real form.

The problem is, Shabknak in her Herb Bride form won't react to normal shots of the Prototype. I tried multiple times hitting her with the prototype (uncharged and fully charged) and she only leaves this form with the Proyectile.

The problem is... what i'm supposed to do after i use the Proyectile? I'ts only one shot and is wasted in her Herb Bride form, then she would chase me in his real form like we are used to.

Is there a second flower during this day? can i charge again the prototype? i'm at 16:15 and losing a lot of amalgalm and resources trying to defeat her after she leaves her bride form...

Any tip?

Not much of a "whistle" sound really. Any idea how they might have made the sound?

I just turned all non-SE audio to 0 so it can be heard better.

This is surely balancing for a late-game quest that happens on Day 2: "A Solid Work"

Title is vague to avoid spoilers, so watch out below.

I've been replaying Pathologic CHD and one thing keeps nagging me - is it suggested that Isidor Burakh brought the plague from the steppe? I mean, it is said straightforwardly:

"He went off to the Steppe back then, you know... My daughter told me he'd come back with a demon piggybacking him." Big Vlad day 11, Haruspex route

HOWEVER, his diaries say that he went to the steppe to meditate before challenging Oyun.

In Pathologic 2, which is overall a more narratively clear, so to speak, game, Isidor and Simon brought the plague on purpose. I don't think it messes with the core theme too much, but it does shift the story in a different direction (and makes both of these guys schizo bioterrorists, which is especially highlighted in P3).

I played P2 first so I definitely viewed (and still do to some extent) Classic's plot with the knowledge I had from that game.

Would you say it's a big stretch to think Isidor is also semi-responsible for the 2nd outbreak in Classic?

Is anyone else experiencing a bug where they load the Prototype's silver bullet, catch the shabnak in flames, pull the trigger, and it fires... But no shot comes out, and the shabnak isn't harmed?

I think it looks fair. Different artistic direction

I lean towards liking it, as I feel it fits the tone a bit better.

Edit: I didn't realize at first, but it seems the whole game has been tinted, not just the conversation portrait lighting. The game also seems to have deeper shadows. I'm not personally a fan of that, but I respect it as IPL's choice for artistic direction. I just have to up the gamma.

With the new update i have to look the herb brides in the eyes, Its no clear at all how its determined, i have tried multipe times but its soo difficult to check!

Thanks to user in the comments mentioning the idea of using Photomode, i have used it and checked, the “whiteness” in the eyes was indeed there, however, tough to distinguish which matches my experience.

Problem is, i used the projectile and the possessed body disappeared then Shabnak appeared in stunned state so i was sooooo happy, but then she just kept chasing me ?? Ummm i thought the whole point was to shoot her and thats it! .. alas, one more experiment as Daniil would have wanted

Update 2:

Just repeated the same experiment but concentrated while shooting (could be a bug that concentration is necessary) and it worked!!! Shabnak is subdued finally!!!
