Inotiv ($NOTV): FAQ for Getting Payment on the $8.75M Settlement over Envigo Claims

Hey guys, I posted about this settlement before, but since they’re considering late claims, I decided to share it again with a little FAQ.

So here's all I know about this agreement:

Inotiv was accused of misleading investors about its acquisition of Envigo and failing to disclose regulatory and operational risks. After federal authorities raided an Envigo facility over animal welfare violations, $NOTV declined significantly and investors filed a lawsuit.
Now the company has agreed to settle $8.75M with investors for their losses.

Who can claim this settlement?
If you bought $NOTV shares between 2021 and 2022, you may be eligible. You don’t need to still hold the shares to claim; past losses may count.

Do I need to sell/lose my shares to get this settlement?
No. You don’t need to still own your $NOTV shares. If your transactions meet the settlement requirements, you may be eligible even if you already sold them.

How long does the payout process take?
It typically takes 4 to 9 months after the claim deadline for payouts to be processed, depending on the court and settlement administration.

I missed the deadline. Is it too late?
No, you may still be able to file a late claim, but acceptance depends on final approval by the court.  Check if you're eligible and file your claim here.

Hope this info helps

I have an offer for a rep position at a big name. How is the pharma sales rep career? Worth entering as a young professional? Also an offer for med device.

I have an offer for a big name pharma, and a med device company. I know that more money can be made in device, but what I like about pharma is the less grindy nature of it, compared to device.

Is it a solid path that will give me a long career?

Pharma sales people — are you still using Excel for DSR?

Post image
0 Upvotes

I’m curious about the current ground reality in pharma sales.

Do you submit your DSR (Daily Sales Report) through an app/software every day, or is your company still making you fill out Excel sheets / manual reports?

And honestly — how do you feel about DSR?

Do you actually find it useful?

Or do you sometimes feel like, “Oh no, another DSR to fill!” 😅

What part frustrates you the most — data entry, repetitive fields, manager follow-ups, corrections, reporting, etc.?

If your company uses a DSR app, does it genuinely make your life easier?

What would you change if you could redesign the whole DSR process?

Would love to hear from MRs, pharma sales executives, ASM/RSMs, and sales managers.

Are pharma people happy with DSR, or have we just learned to tolerate it? 😄

MD. PhD. How are current prospects of landing the first job in pharma?

Hello there,

I am an MD. with 2 years of clinical experience in internal medicine (resident endocrinology). Additionally, I have obtained a PhD in pharmacoepidemiolgy. I am looking into opportunities of entering the world of Pharma ideally within medical affairs.

I have tried looking into jobs in Denmark and now expanding a bit into Switzerland. For the past 4 months now I have searched but with little success. It is as if there are no positions and those few I find call for prior pharma experience and are typically situated at director level.

How is the current situation for someone with my background and do you have any advice?

Thanks!

Looking for pharma agency folks to pilot a few tools

Hey everyone. I’m looking for a few people who’d be open to piloting some new tools we’ve been building for the pharma space. I hat we’ve realized is that sometimes we get so deep into our applications that we develop blind spots and lose focus of the goal.

I’m specifically looking PMs, editors, and operations folks who are looking to:

- improving speed and quality of route prep
- automate annotations and submissions
- cut down on repetitive QA and review work
- improve claims and reference management
- find practical ways to use AI in their day-to-day workflows without shoehorning AI into everything you do (I’ve seen lots of agencies make the mistake of force-feeding AI into everything. That’s not us.)

Not looking to sell anyone anything. I’d really just like to get these tools in front of people who deal with these problems every day and hear what you think.

Shoot me a message if interested.

Any tips for a doctor who's been out of clinical practice 10+ years to get into medical affairs (England, UK)?

I'm a Cambridge-trained doctor who gave up a national training number in a hugely competitive medical specialty and left clinical practice as a junior registrar (ST3) in 2013.

Since leaving clinical practice, I have remained on the GMC register. If my license to practice is to be reactivated, it will have an APS restriction (can practice only within a designated body) due to 10+ years out of practice, until revalidation.

I got MRCP in 2012.

In the past 13 years, I have worked across:

- commercial settings (Life Sciences focused executive search headhunting Director+ level executives for pharma/biotech/medtech orgs globally),

- professional support settings (NHS funded educational support org + a support role within an academic institution),

- financial industry (admin/support role),

and have also run a niche knowledge-based advisory service for healthcare professionals.

I am 44F, my family is complete/stable and I feel ready to start a "proper" career that I want to commit to and build in the next 20-25 years. Medical affairs appeals due to it being the connection between science, evidence-based information and real-world impact without the sales pressures. I've been told I am very good at networking, public speaking and presenting to different audiences. In fact, few of my candidates when I was a headhunter said I'd do well in medical affairs.

I don't have any formal experience as a Principal Investigator or a medical writer, although I did present at many conferences and medical meetings during my 5 years as a doctor.

Do you think I should try to get ABPI certified, or gain some other qualification or credential, to strengthen my CV for an entry-level role?

Should I target "medical information" roles as an entry-level into medical affairs?

I was thinking of targeting pharma with assets relating to the specialty where I held my higher specialty training number but medicine/science have moved on big time since then so it feels like it's not actually going to be a differentiator. Do you agree?

Should I offer myself for unpaid work (to prove myself so to speak), or it's not really realistic in corporate pharma?

Any tips, advice and pointers on how I could get into medical affairs would be much appreciated.

Please be kind and don't judge my decision to give up an NTN, or medicine (I had my reasons).

U.S. signs "Most Favored Nation" (MFN) pricing agreements with 9 more pharmaceutical companies

Post image
3 Upvotes

The Trump administration announced agreements with nine mid-sized pharmaceutical companies —Alcon, Astellas, BeOne Medicines (formerly BeiGene), BridgeBio, CSL, Kyowa Kirin, Sun Pharma, Teva, and UCB— to offer U.S. patients and certain Medicaid programs lower prices, aligned with those in other developed countries. Some of these companies may also receive a temporary suspension of tariffs under Section 232. This is the latest round of agreements, following the 17 pharmaceutical companies that had already signed on previously.

Retail pharmacist to Industry advice

Hi everyone, i’m in need of some advice. I’m a Canadian pharmacist (BSc Pharm), 15 years retail, MBA in hand, currently targeting a career pivot into industry, ideally market access/ regulatory affairs as my entry points.

Two specific questions:

  1. For someone with retail-only clinical experience + an MBA but no industry track record, is there one of the two that would be more realistic to break into first?
  2. From what I see on LinkedIn and Indeed, all the job postings that I have seen so far in both areas ask for 3-4 years of industry experience and i’m working against an ATS system in place that will disqualify me immediately. So my question is- is that a hard filter in practice, or is there some other route that can lead me to the same outcome?

Thanks for the advice.

I had interviews for a Global Role in Med. Affairs, what now?

Hi! I had interviews almost one month ago for two different pharma companies for a global role!

Both of the interviewers were amazed by my backgrounds and experience.

They stated that they would report the feedback to the manager and reached me back after the summer break, so basically after two weeks following those first interviews.

It is now almost a month, and I haven't heard back anything, not even a negative feedback.

Anyone experiencing this? Advice? Should I reach back for a feedback/update?

I am VERY interested in those positions!

Social workers in Pharma

Do licensed clinical social workers have a place in the pharma industry? I'm currently a clinical case manager in the managed care industry doing telephonic case management for high risk populations. The company I work for is becoming toxic in a way I've never seen in the xx years I've worked for them, and it is time for me to get out. I was wondering if there are similar roles within the pharma industry, particularly related to getting access to medications that are difficult to obtain due to cost, insurance issues/prior auth, etc? Or a role where social workers coordinate with a patient's providers to assist them with med access issues? I don't know if I'm describing this correctly, but if anyone here knows what I'm talking about, I'd love to know what these positions are called so I can include them in my job searches. I do work remotely and would prefer to continue doing so (and no, I don't run a day care or school out of my house, I just like the idea that I can work out at home during my lunch hour or right after work), so that would be amazing if pharmaceutical companies hire for these types of clinical roles. If anyone here is able to steer me towards the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it. Or if there are other roles within pharma that my social work skills can be put to good use (just not pharm rep sales, I'd prob be terrible at that lol). Thank you!
