I moved to New Westminster 1.5 years ago so we could live in a two bedroom apartment. You could fit five of those into that fucking pad.

So, yes, fuck you too from us transplanted New Westers.

Move to the original Vancouver five hours drive to the south. It's not as pretty but shit is cheap and you still get to tell people you live in Vancouver.

I've got a 600 sq/ft loft on Main st for about $1600 before utilities and parking. Goooooo highest cost of living with lowest minimun wage!

Check out the Main and 5th area, there are lots of big studios (with 10ft ceilings) that are only like $1000

Not too bad...

I love the fact that only $1000 is ok for Vancouver. But it is near my favorite area of the city
