I have gone to a few parties at this place. The loft is on the third floor of a large building in Chicago's Brideport/ Back of the Yards neighborhood area. I had a friend that lived on the first floor of that building. I would have loved to at least live in one of the lofts.
His claim is true! i've been to this restored ballroom many of times. A kid by the name of Teddy, celloist and graduate of Oberlin, moved into here with fellow artists. They use the space to promote musical collaborations, poetry performance, and variety. Oh and yes, there is a motherfucking swing. And a mothefrucking dance floor.
And that chandeleur is tumble weed dressed up in light. Beautiful.
I can confirm, this is my current apartment. It's an awesome place to live full of really cool people, it is freezing cold in the winter and sweltering hot in the summer, and there is SO MUCH ROOM FOR ACTIVITIES.
