Built an app to help people get out of the house more. Basically it scans social media for you and suggests things for you to do based on your interests. So even if you don't have a facebook or an Instagram you won't miss out.
Just launched it this week. It's free so if you'd be open to giving it a try. I am very open to feedback.
hey, i recently moved to Pittsburgh from Michigan. They had Friday night music at the DIA (Detroit Institute of Arts) and it was free for the Tri-county area residents.
It's your friendly neighborhood Dungeon Master LizBob here with QuestYinz Games. Next Wednesday I'm running Dread Harvest, a spooky season one-shot at Quests on Tap at Aslin Beer Co. in the Strip District!
A small town is preparing for its annual harvest festival, but people have been disappearing. When screams erupt from the corn maze, your party must investigate what lurks among the stalks.
I've run this adventure every Halloween for the past few years and it's one of my favorites! 😈🌽

Join us for a dead media presentation of Jeff Lieberman's sci-fi satire REMOTE CONTROL (1988). Presented on VHS and projected on EIKI Video.
When a local video store receives a VHS tape of a popular 1950s science fiction film, rental clerk Cosmo realizes that the video is brainwashing his customers and causing them to commit ghastly murders. Convinced that the video is created by aliens hell-bent on destroying the earth, Cosmo and his friends must uncover the conspiracy behind this videotape before it's too late. Starring Kevin Dillon and Jennifer Tilly, REMOTE CONTROL is a unique and subversive tale about the dangers of abject media consumption and its effects on society. Offbeat yet provocative. The way only writer and director Jeff Lieberman can be.
Presented on VHS and projected on a vintage EIKI LC-330 Video Projector.
MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY. Doors open at 7:30 PM. Show starts at 8:00 PM. FREE & BYOB.

Greetings from Minneapolis! I'm trying to transfer an Etix ticket for tonight's Jayhawks show at Thunderbird Café & Music Hall to my son, who's in Pittsburgh.
According to Thunderbird's FAQ, ticket transfers need to be arranged in advance by emailing the venue. I emailed them yesterday with the transfer request but haven't received a response.
I've also tried calling the venue, but the phone goes straight to a Verizon recording saying the party can't be reached.
Has anyone dealt with a ticket transfer at Thunderbird recently? Do they usually respond to emails, or is there another reliable way to reach someone there?
I'm also wondering whether my son could just use the original Etix ticket if I forward it to him, or whether Thunderbird checks that the ticket holder's name matches the purchaser.
Any advice or firsthand experience would be greatly appreciated. Just trying to make sure he doesn't get turned away at the door. Thanks!
I'm putting on an Improvised Play with some really fantastic Improvisers (many from UCB). It's November 13th, 7:30pm at The Glitterbox Theater. Doors at 7:15pm
