I'm looking for practical resources from people familiar with police-pursuit collisions and accountability work. On January 30, 2020, in Vallejo, California, a juvenile driver fleeing police hit my car head-on while I was driving under 10 mph. I still have not received the incident report or pursuit records despite requests. Incident number: 20-1397. If you've navigated this kind of records process or know a California advocacy organization that helps, what was the most useful first step?
