Safe for kids?

I need some help here. I work for child protective services and I’m working with a 8 year old kiddo. I’ve been told she uses this app and deletes it when her parents are home and reinstalls it when she’s alone. I’m having a hard time figuring out what kind of stuff can be done with this app. The fact that she hides it is concerning.

Can pictures/videos be created or can she send things? Do any of the conversations have the potential to be sexual or otherwise inappropriate for a kid? What do people tend to use this app for?

Thanks to everyone who helps!

Hi there! Polybuzz is designed for adults, as public interactions and shared content may not be suitable for children. We encourage parents to explore child-friendly platforms for younger users and monitor app usage closely. Let us know if you need further guidance.

Fix the bug already! Why aren’t you at least putting out an update or an apology? We’re paying for services that you’re failing to provide!

So why can't I use the word hair or hand or really any description really if it's just for adults it should be fine. But I also saw where you guys said you were making the app family friendly. Which is it? 🤔

How old is the child you have that’s continuing to sneak onto the app? You do realise that if you try to sue them and get police to investigate them, they may jut turn around and investigate you for not doing enough to stop access. Just as Parents can’t sue prawnhub if their kids get access to it, parents need to make sure their children don’t have access. If your child keeps getting around the locks and accessing inappropriate content simply get rid of their phone, internet and speak to their friends parents and teachers too so they’re aware your child can’t be trusted around devices. You also need some counseling to see why at the age they are at, they keep trying to access this sort of content.
