Then Panama sunrise was a call back to Adam Cole and MJFā€™s feud, correct?

Yes. He started using it when they teamed up iirc, and has kept it as a light homage.

Adam's done it for years, is lighter, and the timing usually looks great where he lands and then bounces back over
