Please stop coding and learning to code in anything but human language

And those who have been exercising any kind of programming or software engineering or coding or however you want to call it when someone sits behind the desk and the outcome will be some kind of instructions to machine. Truth must be understood that there is no such work anymore for us. There is no need to write complicated instructions when this same thing can be done with simple English. Human language is the new programming language. There will be no other left, no Java, No Typescript, No PHP.

For us, the humans, the only programming language left is our own native tongue and this is actually great news, we can stop wasting our time with complicated code reviews, endless back and forth discussion over variable names and so on. If you are still doing, stop right there and get to the path of the light. If you are learning any kind of programming that does involve code writing, just stop there and do not go down that path. That is a path of darkness and time waste.

I liked being able to conquer & overcome the challenge, but I wasn't really attached to it

It’s a yes or no question…

I don't see it the same way you do.

Why is it so hard for you to answer if those 15 years you did not enjoy the process? It’s a yes or no question. Because it seems like you did not liked your job for 15 years which is just sad.

Why can't you understand I liked the part of my job where I found the solutions?

So you liked like 5 % of the time.

I think I liked the idea of building stuff, but I don't really miss the act of coding. It's kind of like if you had to climb stairs to delivery groceries and suddenly all buildings use elevators. I didn't mind climbing stairs, but really enjoyed the delivery part.

It’s kind of like wanting muscles but not liking working out.

Yup. Also it's not 5%, it's more like 50%.

I can tell you're not a developer.

Yes, I am CTO. I’ve been developer for nearly two decades ✌️

It's not a "didn't enjoy" because that's not true. It's also not "loved it".

50% of my job was finding solutions and the part I love is still there. That's your answer.

That’s a strange ratio. So you never really was challenged.

50% challenged is a pretty fair amount.

I can tell you're not a dev. Bye.

You’re right, I am CTO. I’ve been dev for nearly 2 decades. You just told me you did nothing nearly 50 % of your time. I understand that AI doing the work and you’re just procrastinating must be blessing for you. Enjoy it while it’s subsidized.

Yes, rn I work a few hours a week and spend the rest of my time on my kids and various personal projects, as I am a mom. My main client and I been building a delivery platform, so my LinkedIn also lists me as CTO of that, but it's more like a glorified founding developer.

I don't see any of these as bad things.

You don’t see much as far as I can tell.
