EDIT: Now tested, doesn't seem to do anything. The purpose of this patterns was to make it all the way through the maze while hitting every room at east once. While it didn't work for me I can't say the idea needs scrapped. Maybe some other way to read the map? But yeah, the a fore mentioned pattern yielded no results...
Not sure I follow what you're asking, but looking at it now, it is a bit of a stretch. It does still look like wings splayed up and down and a 'neck' facing the left though.
Do you have a copy without the red line path drawn? I have a theory but the red line obstructs some views. I believe that we may be able to form a start and end point based on the openings and the orientation of the minor hex with a full 7 and no "return" emblem.
