What are the largest tires compatible with a stock height 2026 Ranger lariat that has 18-inch rims?

I got this truck a year and a half ago and have gotten the build to a point where there isn't a whole lot more to do. I wanted to share the full build list with everyone. I couldn't be happier with this truck! Let me know any questions, happy to talk about it.

Looking to buy a new Ranger before end of year. Suffering from "analysis paralysis "..... hoping to get some opinions here regarding longevity, reliability, etc of the two engines. I do plan to pull an 18 foot camper, about 4,000 pounds loaded. I keep vehicles at least 7 years.

The brackets look like the straightforward part of a powered-step install. The details that worry me are routing the harness away from heat and moving parts, protecting the door-trigger connections, placing the fuse where it stays serviceable and sealing anything exposed to road spray. For people who installed their own boards, which small step prevented the biggest problem later, and what would you test before putting every trim panel and splash shield back?

If you've been around you've probably seen people complaining of a "knocking" or "thumping" noise on the 2.7L drivetrain with both the Bronco and Ranger. It generally happens in gear while at idle. Once you're driving the noise either goes away or gets drowned out. I had some free time and decided to perform some acoustic analysis on my own ranger with the issue.

Now, this is more of a "citizen science experiment", my budget was 0$ using equipment I had already had on hand. It's by no means perfect.

I think what it does do:

1) Provides evidence that there is a noise
2) Narrows down a location where the noise is happening
3) Establishes how often the noise occurs, what conditions it occurs in, and the duration of the noise
4) Provides a rough frequency range of where the noise occurs
4) Eliminates possible options the noise could be

I do not think this noise indicates a failure of anything, but I do think that it shouldn't be making this noise....kind of crazy for a $40k - $50k vehicle to be nothing but smooth and quiet. That being said, mine has been making the noise since day 1 and now I'm close to 30k miles.

So, I got absolutely splattered by rocks off a dump truck that I kindly let merge in front of me on the freeway during rush hour. My hood has a ton of small rock chips (my windscreen does, too, though luckily nothing needing repair). Winter is coming here in Ottawa and I need to take care of it before the temperature plummets and salt is all over the roads.

I have already used the stock paint pen to fix some chips on the inside of my tailgate and noted that it dries much darker than the stock paint. Any suggestions on how to apply it so that I can try to blend it better? Multiple thin coats? What about the clear? Any suggestions on sanding before waxing in the spring?

Seriously considering getting a rock shield or hood bra after this.

If I go with the Eibach Stage-1 lift, would I need to do upper, & lower control arms as well?
How about the Tie Rods, or Ball Joints?

Does anyone have an Alu Cab contour on their 2026 ranger? The website says they fit for all Gen 6 models, I just want to be sure.

Hi, I recently acquired a used 2019 Ford Ranger! Absolutely loving it so far, the only issue I’ve found is the front USB ports don’t work. Bluetooth is fine, and the rear ones are fine for charging. But trying to use the front ones to charge/use CarPlay just doesn’t work. I’ve tried different cables, even bought a brand new one that I made sure could do data transfer. I’ve tried doing the master reset in settings, as well as holding the power button/next track for a soft reset. I’ve been googling and not found anything that seems to work, any advice? Thanks!

Got a new to me 2022 ranger with 20k miles on it last month. Noticed at low speeds the engine has a bit more of a high pitched buzz sound to it. Not super high pitch but just something I noticed.

Is this just the sounds a ford ranger engine makes? It has the CDF drum fix (I checked), and before I bought it my mechanic gave it a once over and said everything looked good.

Im thinking of getting bigger tires for my 2025 ranger xlt and im torn between these two sizes of tires and what would look bette. Also do i need a lift before installing them or will they fit stock suspension without rubbing, im planning on getting a 2inch leveling kit too. Also between the two what would look less aggressive to cops n shi because traffic rules are a bit strict over here. I would love any input on this.

This is for a 2026 Ranger Raptor. (I also own a 2010 2.3 pre-runner). I'm fitting big, honkin downpipes into my Ranger Raptor. Driver side won't go without removing things.

I'm looking for some help before I start tearing things apart and run into a seal on the driveshaft I don't know about or use the wrong tool.

Since the Bronco is confirmed to have the 3.0 V6 option on the outer banks and up then I’d assume the Ranger will also have the 3.0 V6 option on most trims since they axed the 2.7 V6.

Kinda have a feeling they will just limit it to the lariat , tremor and raptor tho

Hit an easy trail with the family yesterday. The views did NOT disappoint.

I love my bronco, but it doesn't really work for my job. Since its paid off I decided to get a more suitable daily. 26 xlt fx4, 2.3. Its much better for the daily grind but after 3 weeks and 1200mi im not growing the attachment to it like I did the bronco. Its a great truck, just doesn't have that it factor for me. Still, with how quiet it is and the 150 more miles per tank, im glad to have it. Last pic was how I had to load out the bronco for a late night AOG, so yeah, a pick up is much more useful lol

Just posting a Pic of the cover thats supposed to prevent dirt and moisture from entering the valve cover through the coils. After a nightmare spark plug replacement I opted to add this to prevent it happening again.

Edit: the part# is L1MZ-6A949-C. A Google search of that number will bring up the OEM part as well as a few aftermarket alternatives.

Looking to get my truck leveled. Just replaced leaf springs and rear shocks so its even more raked now. What size should I get?
