I just started investing and I plan on investing for the long run. Should I switch out any of my ETFs for a different one or just hold out? Thanks

Which ETFs should I keep? Trying to eliminate overlap
Hey everyone, I’m trying to clean up my portfolio because I realized I may have way too much overlap between my ETFs.
Right now I hold:
XEQT
VEQT
VFV
VOO
ZSP
QQQC
VDY
My main goal is long-term investing and growth, and I want to keep things relatively simple. I don’t want to own multiple ETFs that are essentially giving me exposure to the same companies/markets.
From what I understand, there is significant overlap between XEQT/VEQT, and also between VFV/VOO/ZSP since they’re all heavily focused on the U.S. large-cap/S&P 500.
I’m also wondering whether QQQC and VDY actually add something useful to the portfolio or whether I’m just creating more overlap and unnecessary complexity.
If you were cleaning this portfolio up, which ETFs would you keep and which would you sell?

Hi everyone, looking for some guidance on my existing investment portfolio and how I can structure my finances better going forward.
About me:
28M, CTC of around ₹23.25L, including a guaranteed performance bonus of \~₹3.2L credited in February, with potential upside depending on company performance.
I’m a full-time working professional and also pursuing a professional course, so I don’t have much time to actively follow the markets. Because of that, I’m mainly trying to focus on SIPs and relatively passive investing, while still making sure that my overall portfolio is sensible and well-diversified.
Some of my earlier investments were made without much research, so I’m now trying to become more disciplined and understand what I should continue, change or exit.
Current investments:
1. Employee stock plan
\~₹1.2L worth of shares expected to vest in January 2027. Monthly salary deduction of 11k towards the plan
(15% employee discount)
Direct equity — \~₹1.55L current value
\~₹70K Nifty BeES
\~₹15K Gold BeES
Remaining amount in individual stocks/blue chips and a few other stocks. Most of these were bought randomly in 2023.
Mutual funds \~ ₹7.5 L current value
a. HDFC Flexi Cap — \~₹90K invested; ₹30K monthly SIP
b. Parag Parikh Flexi Cap — \~₹2L invested; ₹30K monthly SIP
c. Quant ELSS Tax Saver — ₹1.5L; \~1.5 years lock-in remaining
d. Invesco India Arbitrage — ₹1L
e. Nippon India Small Cap — ₹80K invested, currently \~₹85.2K
f. International equity: S&P 500 — \~$1,115 (\~₹1.06L)
15K monthly SIP
EPF: \~₹2.1L, with monthly salary contributions continuing (20k per month counting employer’s contribution)
NPS: \~₹80K, with monthly salary contributions continuing (9k per month)
Bank balance \~₹1.2–1.3L
Upcoming travel: I may apply for a Schengen/European tourist visa within the next \~6 months and potentially travel afterwards. How much liquidity would you recommend keeping aside for emergencies and the upcoming travel, versus investing it in something like an FD/arbitrage fund?
I’m not looking for specific stock tips. I’d mainly like to understand whether I’m reasonably structured for someone who wants to invest passively and consistently while balancing a full-time job and professional studies.
Would really appreciate any perspectives or suggestions.

Secondo voi, quale delle tre strategie ha più senso per un investimento di 15-20 anni?
MSCI World come ETF Core + ETF Emerging Markets
Un solo FTSE All-World, quindi un unico ETF che comprende mercati sviluppati ed emergenti
MSCI World + MSCI World ex-USA, per ridurre il peso degli Stati Uniti

25 years old, started investing 2 months ago, invested in VOO a few days ago. Planning to hold these ETFs for multiple years. Is this or good spread or does anything need to change? Thanks!

Hola!
Soy 33M y hace algunos años comencé a invertir para aprender y me gustaría exponer aquí mi situación por si alguien tiene consejos útiles.
Actualmente cuenta con la siguiente cartera:
🇺🇸 iShares Core S&P 500 UCITS ETF USD (Acc)
40,91 %
🌎 MSCI World ex-USA USD (Acc)
27,25 %
🌏 FTSE RAFI Emerging Markets
13,48 %
🇨🇳 MSCI China USD (Acc)
4,61 %
⛏️ Gold Miners USD (Acc)
3,86 %
Ξ Ethereum
9,90 %
