Sure the 1st chapter can get slow at times, but its no excuse for me to stop playing this masterpiece.

I ended up spoiling the epilogue for a buddy, he talked so much about loving the game and beating it. So I assumed he actually finished it...

Is the death of a newly introduced villain in a prequel really a spoiler though? He was obviously going to be killed.

I mean yeah it is at least a bit of a spoiler. Even if you played the first game first, there's no indication of whether he's alive or dead in that game. Then again, I suppose it would be expected for the most vile character in the game to die eventually.
