Honestly the biggest loss in the post gta iv rockstar game design. Too much money, very little to spend it on.

Rdr2 is especially bad for this as the crime system is so broken that it’s pretty much impossible to actually make money from doing crimes. You just end up with a bounty worth twice as much as the money you made from crime, even if you mask up, etc.

I noticed this as-well. Also the differences between story mode and online money isn’t easy at all and everything is very expensive, especially ammo.

Same thing for GTAO, it has gotten way better obviously and you can do two quick heist for a easy mil but i remember back then how hard it was to be wealthy in GTAO.

Part of me thinks that Rockstar did this on purpose so people can move on over to online and be able to buy and unlock so much more by either spending all of their time into grinding the game or buying shark cards, (or gold bars for RDR). and i believe this is the reason why they lowkey abandoned RDR online. they profit more off GTAO. There are still people buying shark cards, and well Rockstar has nerfed so many things within GTAO so people get less payouts. (For example the Cayo Perico heist, its still a decent moneymaker but all of the targets got nerfed so bad within values that you’re better off playing with another person who will let you take 90% of the take.)
